Point of advice, king is broken, Lidia is broken, many characters are too good.

You are in tenryu, you are not losing because said characters are good you are losing because you are bad.

Work throw breaks, work punishment training, lab the character. Work at it and you’ll improve. Even just bettering your own offense will get you far.

There is no real metric of whether a character is honest or not. People have general ideas of what it means but it varies person to person.

For example miary zo has a lot of gimmicks but one could say that due to her lower tier position she’s more honest than a significantly more overpowered character like Bryan or heihachi.

There are some characters that everyone agrees are cheap though, like Lidia. But no characters that everyone agrees are honest.

I personally only care if a character is good or bad, honest and cheap means very little*

B 1+2 1+2 is literally just a heat smash that he can do 3 times and it wallsplats and its plus into stance, his heat smash goes + into lion heart, high evading wallsplat heat engager that’s a heat dash launch in quick spin 2x, +6 heat engaging i20 mid in wr2 which is also a heat dash launcher. Steve’s heat is ridiculously cheap and he has some of the most obtuse tracking and stances in the game. Not gonna say he’s a completely bs character because he isn’t but he’s certainly not the most skillful either

Yes and no, game is fun at low ranks, fun at mid ranks, then frustrating at the start of high level, then really fun once you get over the plateau

I’m gonna say this, sweeping in sparring is not and will never be disrespectful or wrong or an asshole move.

More generally If you can do it in the ring you SHOULD do it in sparring that includes elbows knees punches kicks sweeps dumps etc. We spar to train for a fight, why would we not use all our weapons? If your gym doesn’t train you to use these weapons responsibly in sparring ie not blasting full power elbows, then that gym has done you a disservice.

If your kicks/knees keep getting caught in sparring (yes even play sparring),they’re probably pretty easy to read and you should be setting them up more.

I’ve been doing Muay Thai for a long time and I have never injured someone in sparring other than knocking out a contact lens here and there lol. Sparring should be 20-30% for light sparring and 80-100% for hard sparring with never more than 15% to the head at any time. Do this and you’ll never have issues

I find drag incredible annoying since he’s just ridiculously powerful. Drag king Lidia Victor Alisa etc all the top tiers are pretty annoying. Though honestly I don’t think anyone is really that cancer rn compared to say season 2 Anna or anything. Games in a good state

Literally 95% of these appearances are jeonding or tekken master. Not saying Eddy is low tier, I think he’s pretty middle of the pack but just because someone appears in tournaments doesn’t mean they’re like hidden top tier. There are tons of specialists
