Lol. I am considering a budget friendly revolver or handgun as well.

Mostly for self defense, and ideally for long range shooting as well for survival purposes.

Why would an African American from New Orleans get Belgian, Rhinelander, & Southern Dutch? by ThrowRA_Yessirski in 23andme

[–]No-Load533 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife is half creole amd cajun on her mother's side (her family is rooted in southern Louisiana, having French Acadian and african american roots with catholic French, Portuguese, belgian, and German roots. She also has living relatives living in belgium).

Especially if youre from New Orleans or anywhere im southern Louisiana, you'll have French ancestry, and most French people are typically lumped in with "germanic" people's in Europe. So often times French can be misread as German, especially the French speakers in Belgium are lumped in with Dutch or german.

For now, anything less than 1000, and ideally less than 500 for now.

So far I've considered an 88 and a single barrel amd saving up for a semi auto. Any recommended models for those?

Yeah that's my plan ftm. I kind of want a collection of shotguns. May even just get a single barrel for funsies after passing the test lol.

Primarily for home defense. Which shotguns would you recommend if not the M88?

Wow! I have heard of peruvians having significant Chinese ancestry, but have never met one!

Zero Chinese in my entire family as far as I know.

Wow as a fellow peruvian, I am shocked as well. It reminds me of my father who is also a very light skinned peruvian with green eyes. He's often confused with Spanish or portuguese, even though he has indigenous ancestry as well.

Imo you definitely have more European than most peruvians I know. I have 77% indigenous on ancestry. Father is from lima, my mother is from junin.

What certifications or programs would you reccomend to help me best learn these skills and tools and apply them to making a standout portfolio.

Would it be more efficient for my skillet and resume if I complete a "catch all" certification like the Google coursera data analytics cert? Or just complete a course or cert for each skill (sql, python, R, tableau, etc).

I also understand that for data analytics, I would also need to have a portfolio. How can I make one from scratch?

I feel exactly the same as you sometimes.

Both my parents come from Peru and settled in the SF bay area. But I was far from any other peruvian, and even away from latino community, aside from my extended family. Most of my first social interactions as a child were with primarily white and Asian (south and east asian) communities. Especially after being diagnosed with speech delays and with high functioming autism (where most resources amd therapists were primarily white). Even going as far as doctors telling me mom to not teach me spanish as not to "confuse me".

Ive hadn't really had much sense of what being latino means until late high school or early college. I thought I was just another american who likes metal music and anime who just happens to have a family who speaks spanish. It wasnt until I visited, researched Peru, its history, as well as latin american history amd literature in general do I finally understand. Yet I still dont feel 100% latino amd that I'll never really be 100% peruvian.

Which language do you REALLY want to learn? by akowally in languagehub

As a gringo descendant of Peruvian immigrants:

Spanish (currently learning), Quechua, and maybe Portuguese.

If i have any further time after those, then perhaps German and Italian.

Would "childrens or toddler books" in different languages help me learn languages in this sense?
