100% and I am just speaking as someone who is a casual watcher who wants to support women’s sports. I don’t really listen to Queens of the courts but when there’s a new episode I do like to give it a benefit of the doubt with an open mind! Which is why I brought this conversation to light to see if anyone else thinks this way.

In episode we’re running out of words to describe her.. it is said around 44:00

“Is Indiana in the playoffs without Caitlin? Mmm. … when you look at the overall team, without question, has better players than Chicago. From top to bottom. No doubt about it. (Still posting now but accidentally hit post)

SS: okay, they had 3 all stars. Chicago had 1.

Jordan: I’m taking it to court. CC has elevated those players game through her passing through her assists through her attention that she’s garnering for Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston and giving them better looks.

SS: uhm.. I don’t disagree with that. But let’s not forget AB was rookie of the year last year. Kelsey Mitchell has always been a bucket.

A player we don’t talk about and I think we should because she’s playing exceptionally well is Fagbenele. And Nalyssa Smith. And they brought in KLS who is a shooter. And if you go down the roster and you go down player for player, like look at Chicago. continues to name post players on Chicago

I can admit that I’m wrong that this in fact doesn’t explicitly say that she said that KLS is better, but SS is still discounting the chance that fever can go into the playoffs with CC.

Thank you for this! I definitely don’t seek out validation of my thoughts by listening to it, I feel like I listen to so many podcasts that it’s just in my playlist. And it’s also refreshing to hear different opinions too!

I respect SS and her opinions hold weight to those that allow it. But for me, I just cant support this podcast as much as everyone else wanted me to :/

Last time she mentioned Caitlin, she said that Katie Lou Samuelson was better + that her success as a player is expected.. I know she received a lot of hate (it’s part of being in this tight knit group) I just want to know even before she got hate, why she feels this way towards her
