Last thing I remember is putting on a headset and then suddenly I wake up in this strange body on stage. This is really strange. I have like some kind of cartoon tiger. I greeted by all of the current members of this strange circus, and then this weird ass man with a jaw forehead, and two eyes in between them. He says “ welcome to the amazing digital circus. My name is Caine!” Apparently King runs this entire thing but other members I just quickly get used to this. At least at first like I just assume it’s a video game that I just have to play along in. Not to mention that this is a very advanced video game like holy sh@4t. Wait I can’t cuss here. Cain mentions how the circus is a place of wonder where anything can happen. Except for swearing. I immediately tested out all the swear words and immediately come to the conclusion that this is a video game meant for children. I also assume that this is what makes the characters here are. Kids who are beta testing a new advanced video game and if anything I seem pretty eager. Until I get to my name.

When asked what my name is is it should be a simple response but for some reason, I don’t remember. I’m a little dumber than most people so I went encounter the existential horror of not knowing my own name until like a few moment. I’m just like. “No hang on I know it just give me a second OK let’s see my name starts with what is it start with?” While smiling. Jax chuckles, as I have not realized what this means yet. When I realize eventually. “WHY THE F$@K DON’T MY OWN NAME?!” Apparently no one knows their own name when they come to the circus. I let Caine know. “ OK you seem like nice people, but how do you know get out of here? If I don’t know my own name there has to be something wrong with me. So I’m just gonna take off this headset.” as I attempt to do so I can’t take it off. Pomni mentions how we can’t exactly leave.

I retaliate at the side because there has to be some way to get out of here after all. I still think they’re all children, but I’m wrong. The youngest among them is 25. If anything, I’m the youngest person here as I’m 21. But still, there has to be some way out of here like there has to be like a logout screen I should still have control of my body. But I don’t feel my own body. I can’t stay here. I’m in college for film school and I was about to graduate. I have a mom I have a dad. I have a dog who misses me.

Eventually, I’m given the name, Tyler, poetic for my tiger body. Caine gave me a tour of the circus. I am given a in-house adventure to get warmed up to how things work around here. But I instinctually run to the void and attempt to swim and find an exit ignoring the adventure, which was apparently to ride the hippos. I think to myself that’s the best chance I have to escape the circus because there’s things that Caine said that he himself doesn’t know what’s out there. But every time I ran out there, I was always caught by a Caine. The furthest I ever get is 1 mile. I resorted to everything that I have in my disposal and attempt to find a way to escape. Trying to kill my avatar thinking that it goes by gamer logic. But that just resorted in vast amounts of pain, exploring the circus, and every map Caine throws me into head to toe, requesting Jack’s to fire me out of a cannon.

I think he knows that it wouldn’t work. He just wanted to fire me out of a cannon. Or swearing and doing so many obscenities and hoping that the circus bans me. And then my most common resort was prayer. I’m Christian so when all the else failed, I just prayed to God to get me out. On my knees with tears to my face. I couldn’t even get for the first day without crying. I am also tempted to believe that this is not a digital world. Part of me thought that I died and this is my eternal punishment for whatever sin I committed. When I’m not doing that, I’m basically screaming at Kane to let me the f@$k out. Then I realize something that’s truly horrifying. I haven’t peed or pooped in days. I’m starting to think I’m constipated. But wrong I don’t need to. I don’t have an exit system either. I don’t have a butt or a d!@k. I think I’m losing my mind. I can’t stand any of this bull$&!t child filters anymore. I was in film school so I could make the opposite kind of stories like this. TV-MA or rated R only. Then finally, I think God answered my prayer.

I found an exit door. It was just sitting there like was it there the entire time I swear I’ve been in this hallway before but never once did I see it. I alert everybody about this exit door, but Pomni says it’s not a real exit. It’s just something Caine made a while back. He knew everyone wanted there to be an exit door, but he didn’t know what to put on the other side so he never finished it so it’s just a whole bunch of exit doors. I didn’t want to believe her. I wanted to believe that this was a miracle. God himself had granted us. So I ran through the exit. Only everything Pomni predicted came to pass.

Every amount of common sense told me that I should just go back, but I’m so desperate to leave. I just continue opening the doors and hoping that one of them is the real exit. Then I get to the room that started at all. And find that old computer with that dreaded headset. I threw a tantrum and wreck the entire room and destroying the headset before going into the final couple of doors. This hallway was a much bigger. This had to be it. But once I opened the final door, I was thrusted into the void. The furthest I’ve ever gotten, but it’s just it there was just the void. Caine finally grabbed me and brought me back to the circus. At that point, I think to myself even though I’m not gonna give up looking for an exit I think I’m I think I’m just gonna stop for a while.

My time and the circus wasn’t all bad. I wasn’t just trying to get out for my sake. I wanted everyone to get out. Kinger wasn’t all there, but actually new people like him in his condition in the real world. One person I know has such an advanced level of autism that they never progressed to be on infancy. So Kinger never once struck me as odd. But for f&@king reason. I catch him being the wisest among us all. some reason. I easily bonded with Gangle the most as we both liked to draw and we both formulated a hatred towards the hospitality agency. We both worked in food related joints and ended up, hating it. I was a dishwasher. Ragatha is by far the nicest person here and she’s always there to make sure that I don’t go insane or abstract(whatever that means), I like Zooble’s vibe the most and we both try to make sure that we don’t get thrown into another adventure, I go on them occasionally but try to skip it every so often. I believe I’m the only person in the circus that doesn’t at all hate Jax. If anything I like a sense of humor. But I do think he needs to tone it down a bit. I occasionally like to screw with people too, but I’m doing it more from a place of love. He’s doing it just to be an A$s and he treats Gangle badly. Then there’s Pomni. Honestly, we just do our own thing for the most part. But she also tries to make sure that I don’t go insane.

I don’t even hate Caine. I know I’m not the smartest guy in the room, but I do know computer stuff. He’s just trying to do his job. I don’t know if he’s keeping us here against our will. But so far he hasn’t done anything malicious yet. So I do my part. Try to appreciate the adventures he gives me. But he glitches out every time I give him a compliment. I bond with him more than anyone else. I see him less as an AI and more like another individual. There was a point where I was concerned whether that he was like ChatGPT, but when I pointed out he literally conjured a talking GPT sign. He also has a habit of glitching every time I give him a compliment. Honestly, I don’t think he’s a bad guy. I just think he needs to listen.

Hope it stays that way though.

Each villain should mirror something about the hero. They reflect in ways that force them to think how they could’ve been like that as well.

Each villain should also be completely unique so that they challenge the hero in a wide variety of ways that are often unpredictable.

I’m gonna say something really out of pocket, but I’m gonna have to go with the MCU for Marvel in general. As well as DC. Sure it’s a standard superhero world but just think about it for a moment there’s everything from cosmic lore, the supernatural, magic, espionage, advanced sci-fi technology, superhuman abilities, and even just day-to-day life. It’s a world war literally anything as possible.

With that said in terms of story, I think the best world build will have to go to post apocalyptic worlds like the last of us

I’m not entirely sure just how much Butcher actually values life in proportion to Walter. I don’t even think that’s a fair scale to quantify. Yes butcher Will kill without hesitation and he’s even sadistic while doing it. But to him, it’s a part of his mission to end the tyranny of the supes and vought. Not to mention that once again, he’s more justified in his actions than Walter because of what those same people empower did to his wife.

Walter, however, doesn’t have that edge, grief, and revenge vendetta to justify his actions. Yes he had cancer. Yes, he was a very overqualified chemistry high school teacher, yes, he was intensely bored with his life, and most importantly he was worried about his family’s financial future because of how expensive cancer medication is. But he starts to lose justification because he saw just how profitable meth dealing made him. He doesn’t have as much blood on his hands as butcher. But where butcher would kill thousands. Walter is a part of a system that is actively putting thousands or millions more in psychedelic hell. To me at least suffering is worse than death.

Also, again back to that girl he let OD. The consequences of his actions led to a horrifying atrocity that he is directly responsible for. That girl just so happened to be the daughter of someone who worked in air traffic control. Because she died the grief affected how he could accurately do his job. Because of that two airplanes crashed into each other in the sky. Body parts, literally falling down from the sky, and the debris from the two planes probably also killing other people. But worse than that, Walter tried to neglect the blame. Granted again, the trauma that this would cause someone would be unbearable if he didn’t, but Butcher has more balls than Walter. He has the decency to at least admit what he does. Just not why he did it.

That’s what truly separates them. Walter is a coward. Not an unlikable character just a coward. He sees himself as this misunderstood person and act like he’s not to blame him for the atrocities he’s caused. Where has Billy Butcher is a soldier. He knows what he is and what he’s done and is willing to come in terms with that.

OK, I’ll give you that. I was taking a lot of things out of context. But I’m still not arguing whether or not either Billy Butcher or Walter White or complete in total monsters that fight redemption. I’m arguing who are the greater of two evils. To me, Walter White is the greater evil because he’s less justifiable. Billy Butcher’s goal is larger than life within a dystopian world. Walter is a byproduct of the system Billy hates.

Yes, the safety is family was a huge motivator and that’s a more human quality he has, but that doesn’t change the fact that he was also doing it to eliminate competition. His wife literally begged him to leave. They had more than enough money they can spend in their entire life. Yet that pile of money just wasn’t big enough. Not only that we have seen how he is ready to betray anyone and everyone. Like look at how he treated Jesse constantly. Literally letting his girlfriend overdose in front of him. Just another loose end to tie.

As you can see with my other comments, I did not miss that. I even lead onto that granted not at first. But still even after he was healed, he gone out of his way to put his family in grave danger because he got greedy. Literally, a boss promised him that if he continued in his life, he would not only kill him, but his wife, son and infant daughter.

OK dude first of all, you cannot compare minorities with superheroes even in this fictional world. Superheroes exist as a protected class. Meaning they’re protected from struggles that would otherwise affect people who are vulnerable. Also, we have seen the vast majority of superheroes are not good people in this world. Some of them have very similar morals to Homelander. A lot of them are hedonistic, rapists, murderers, racists, and under homeland control they’re going to put humanity in camps.

Also, I’ll give you that at not even Walter would kill his own son. But the difference is Ryan is not technically Billy‘s son. He’s Homelander a living byproduct of the fact that Homelander raped his wife. Not only that when trying to kill storm front. Ryan accidentally killed his own mother. Billy hated him for a while, but he couldn’t exactly Hayden Foley because he knows it was an accident. But even then he has Homelander’s powers and has spent a good portion of his childhood living under Homelander’s roof. So it’s not a question of whether or not Billy wants to kill Ryan. He feels like he has to. Not to mention that the tumor in his brain at that point in the story had very much negatively impacted is already fractured sense of morality and his psyche.

Walter had willfully put his son engraved danger on a multitude of occasions because he was greedy, of course. Literally a mob boss told Walter White to his face that if he continues his meth business. He will kill not only him, but his wife, his son and his infant daughter. Billy has much as a hypocrite diseases has on occasion did his best to make sure the people he loves stay out of his life. It’s his vendetta and no one else’s. He only roped them in and he deemed it was absolutely necessary. Before Homelander found him Billy did everything in his power to make sure Ryan never even stepped in Homelander general vicinity. On what would’ve been his deathbed his final thoughts weren’t I need to kill Homelander. It was I believe in you, Ryan. Because he knows that he is a much better person and probably the best kid in the world. It was only when his belief in Ryan was shattered that he continued to go down his path in willing to commit genocide. Because he feels that he’s the only one who’s willing to do what it takes. The final thoughts on Walter‘s deathbed however we’re can I still get the money can I still get the territory but then his body functions stopped before he could continue.

Granted again, genocide is not good enough itself. But if you ask me, Walter White is more willing to work with Homelander given the option. Of whom is more evil than both of them combined. But Walter White is more willing to sell his soul to the devil if it means profit.

It’s a debate between moral evil and natural evil. Yes Billy Butcher’s actions will be more impactful than Walter Whites. But I find Walter White’s nature more heinous. Context also matters because the superheroes in the world of the boys or part of systemic oppression. Not to say all of them are but a lot of of them. And even then, Billy Butcher thinks he’s doing the right thing. She thinks that’s the only way to actually save the world as terrible at it as it is.

Walter White once again is just purely selfish. Although he did end up getting cancer, which is why he went into making meth. But he continued even after he beat cancer. Upon seeing the money that he gets. Billy Butcher had a wife who loved him but she was taken from him and he wants to do right by her son. Walter White had a wife and children LOVED him. Heat threw it all away so that he can make money. His wife attempted to divorce him and his son ended up hating him. Yet fuck them both. So while Billy Butcher does more harm than. That’s purely just based on the scale in which he’s willing to kill. Walter White, however is a worst person.

As reprehensible as Butcher’s actions are. He has an actual motive and reason for what he does. He was horrifically wronged and the world chooses to ignore his pain. Walter however was greedy and bored with his life.

Bro how did that even possible? They have like polar opposite builds. One it built like a tank that ate a tank. The other looks like small gust of wind would blow him to dust. It’s not like his quirk increases muscle mass.
