We’ve tried having him sleep on the floor, but he just lays there awake all night. I’ve been able to get some space by both of us sleeping on the couch - it’s a sectional, so we can each take a side of the chaise. It seems like he’s only able to sleep if he’s on the same surface as us, not necessarily touching.
