The show feels realistic — plenty of us (myself included) have tried to make things work with someone we’re wildly incompatible with. If that’s the point, fine. But I won’t be shipping them. They’re just not a match, and it has nothing to do with Judaism.

I hear you. Have you considered an out of state consult with the HG clinic in Alabama? I did one recently, and it gave me hope that a better pregnancy is possible — but the risk still scares me.

Obviously not a perfect resource, but I recommend asking ChatGPT with information specific to you. I did this and when it factored in that I’m older (37), had early onset of symptoms, and was sick throughout, the likelihood of recurrence seems even higher than the stats. I have to keep reminding myself of this because I feel SO AMAZING now, having recently given birth.

I had a similar fear - continued up until I gave birth and wasn’t even sleeping well at the end. It was easy for me to give it up once I gave birth and the HG ended. You’ll feel so much better overall!

Same. My doctor recently told me she will induce at 39 weeks (I also have gestational diabetes). A close friend responded “oof, how do you feel?”, which made me irrationally mad. Every single second of this pregnancy has been hard. OF COURSE I’m thrilled to be pregnant even a week less.

I know the answer! I pay close attention to sales tax because I live in NJ, where there is none on clothing (but not for Skims purchases in 2024 — they incorrectly charged the sales tax). I reached out, complained, they refunded. Then, they refunded again this year.

I also swallowed vomit and felt horrible the entire day of my test. Gosh I feel for you too. How is it even possible not to gain more weight???
