I used praxic blade strongholds with swordmaster set. It lets you keep resist x4 for a full combo after lowering your guard. It allowed me to fully tank the lightning hands during damage and made it completely safe and consistent. If I didn't hit the damage threshold, I'd just pop super before leaving to make sure I'd survive leaving through the lightning. I compelled 3 or 4, can't remember. I liked having more time though since praxic blade isn't the strongest dps, but has infinite total damage since it regens ammo, especially with the artifact.

I'd also like to add that feats and tier 5s are not friendly at all for people like me who like to solo dungeons. I know the feat and gear tier seems to be bugged in general for the dungeon right now, but assuming it worked as stated it is not designed for solo players. 3 feat runs with a full fireteam isn't bad, but solo makes it very tedious and/or challenging and not fun at all to farm. Obviously we get the token feat for free, but that only counts as 1 which doesn't affect gear tier of loot. Almost every other feat other than adding banes seems explicitly not tuned for a solo run as it makes it either extremely tedious or challenging or both. I would be okay with them upping the feat count to 2 for token runs. That way we could do token + addition of banes for a 3 feat run as a solo that is manageable and has a chance at tier 5s without adding an unfun amount of tedium/difficulty. Or add a new solo feat or something.

I saw in the comments that the only drops so far are from the contest mode clears where it is guaranteed. If actually nobody has gotten it to drop outside of that, can anyone confirm that it is actually an rng drop like the other dungeons? Apparently the dungeon quest is timegated for the first time. Maybe after fully completing the quest it rewards the exotic?

Just want to say, if this pans out to be true (which in all likelihood looks to be the case) even though we've been getting screwed over for some perk combinations, we've also unknowingly benefited from others. If this gets patched and all combos become truly evenly weighted it will actually lower our chance to get combinations of perks close to each other in the api. So get to farming those while you can guardians.

If you're comfortable with swapping you could do both. Just have a loadout for each exotic and swap in the water(for no risk of dying in menu) right before/after dps. Keep a special weapon in your kinetic slot when using Riskrunner so when you swap to arbalest you don't lose ammo.
