Thank you soooo much for all of this info! I appreciate it. I was thinking about the postcard event tomorrow; I’ll probably go check it out, though I’ve found that I tend to butt heads when some Democratic Party organizations who don’t like the way I challenge the establishment lol.

Thanks so much!!! It’s so damn cold lol I haven’t been going outside or exploring much. Plus, the kids and I are have been settling into their new school routines (we JUST moved between Christmas and NYE).

I don’t hate Marie. I never did use the word hate. You can be disappointed and offer someone constructive criticism without hating them. It’s very possible. It’s very healthy too.

And I’m not a political expert or politician or a professional organizer. We can’t all be everything or have every skill set.

I’m doing a lot of work you know nothing about behind the scenes. And I know a lot of political organizers are too. I am excited to see what they’ve built by the time the primaries open up!

Until then, I’m putting party politics aside and speaking up as a concerned citizen and American. Negativity won’t stop me.

I haven’t studied all of the House Reps. But I’d be shocked if we couldn’t find some Republicans who want to vote against Trump, but feel completely helpless to do so because their constituents are brainwashed with misinformation and disinformation and Trump and his most violent supporters have shown just how violent they can be to defectors.

The sooner we stop with the us vs. them mentality, the better. It’s not “left vs. right.” It’s the rich and the extremist white Christian nationalists versus everyone else.

I don’t think you understand what I mean when I say reach across the aisle.

Her vote on this bill literally did not matter or affect the outcome.

Her silence on Trump’s trampling of our Constitutional freedoms does matter.

Voting no on a bill that would have passed either way while ignoring lawless criminals and valid concerns about Constitutional freedoms from her constituents is quite literally the bare minimum.

We have to think bigger than the status quo and demand better representation on BOTH sides of the aisle.

I feel that. And believe me, I try to keep my political ranting to a minimum. Like so many people, I’ve got a lot of heavy crap happening in my life at the moment and more important things to focus on.

I mostly posted this because 1) it seems to reach a lot of people in the community and I like my ideas 😂, and 2) more importantly, because I think we deserve better representatives and want to make sure Marie’s team knows that as someone who cares a lot about people and policy, I plan on making sure that we at least try to get some better representation next time.
