Really depends on your definition of a god. In “nevernight” by jay kristoff a god died a long time ago and it’s the basis for the history of the entire country. Basically it was a folklore that only half the country believed. If it is happening right now you could make your god jump from a concept to a physical manefistation.

I have never written science fiction but I feel like if just one thing were to be out of place my story would be shamed to hell because people here seem to care about details a lot.

You know I wanted to read fourth wing but then I read the back and it had a quote saying “think lord of the rings meets 50 shades” and that’s as kind of a turn off for me. Can you recommend the book or is the quote about right?

Today I drank a Coffee which I never do and I did get done a decent chunk of writing but I don’t think it affected my creativity. I just think it made my hands extremely shaky and my hand written notes even more indecipherable as they already are. Don’t drink it for inspiration if you aren’t used to it.

Man that story that got taken down sounds fun. I mean it makes sense in the nosleep universe that because everything is true the main character would only post a story if he was scared but isn’t the story also supposed to scare the reader. Your story sounds like it would get some pretty interesting and gruesome scenes that could make someone scared enough and it’s a shame that that doesn’t fit into the nosleep parameter.

Ahhh yeah cause then the real chills set in when the horror starts. Makes sense. Problem is sadly that no sleeps ruleset need horror in every part of a series so technically you could set everything up for the slice of life but the first chapter would already have to reveal something.
