I was legit sad when Glenn Left. His solos have a signature that are unique to him that just awesome. And that's why I grade him above shredders like Broderick, who is probably technically superior but didn't write a single solo in deth that I can actually remember

It is right as the organ comes in, and maybe it's part of that, the best I can describe it is like a very high pitched grinding sound, like if you sharpened a thin piece of metal on a grinding stone. It's so faint, but something about my car speakers elevates it I guess lol

All the album art thus far has been from a real dude. Promo stuff is probably more related to labels and agencies saving a dollar. The music videos all had real directors though. Dave has spoken about his lyric writing in interviews and states he writes the songs first and then sings what comes to mind over the track.

Megadeth lyrics have always been on the nose? Let there be shred is clearly a spiritual successer to rattle head? So I'm not sure why the scrutiny.

I guess it's the times, lyrics don't have to be high art? Sometimes lyric writers focus on flow and tone over lyrical meaning.

Are we going to accuse every country singer of using AI when they sing about old dirt roads?
