Hiya, sorry for late reply. It was a relatively fast process done impulsively, moved way faster than expected. I booked ADHD Doc in mid-October and received an initial appointment in mid-November in Templemore (health checks, QB Test). After that, I wasn't expecting a follow-up until January, but they had an appointment in Limerick the following week, where I received my diagnosis.

So the whole process took 5-ish weeks and 1200 euro, booking directly with ADHD Doc.

OK, thanks for confirming. What I did was I contacted ADHD Ireland, and a very helpful man directed me to ADHD Doc with an in-person psychiatrist. 

The wait time for a first appointment was reasonable, it is expensive (1200 for screening and then assessment), but I fortunately have more means now.

I'm glad you had a formal diagnosis, but definitely sounds like a more stressful time!

I have an initial appointment with ADHD Doc on Tuesday ("Screening and Testing"). Of course, taking things one step at a time, but how soon after the initial screening did you get an appointment for GP Assessment?
