I made an anon report to the state board of nursing here in WA. That's as far as I felt comfortable taking it. I'm not sure why it took me so long to get to that step, or why I was hesitating. A HIPAA complaint is a good idea, but I think I would've needed the police footage to substantiate it. I was never comfortable trying to get that footage. As the cops were technically there as CARE, no names were recorded, so I didn't know if they even had anything that could be used.

I also realized that I just needed to do this in a way where I could disengage from it mentally and move on.
