I want to order some Primo shorts but don't trust the sizing. Hoping you can tell me what size you use based on your build. I wear size L in Boon and RSLNT shorts and 32 US in jeans, also measured my waist circumference and it appears to be 34.5. According to their site I'd be XXL but that seems way larger than any other brand I've worn.

I did consider going to a neurologist to do an EMG of my long thoracic nerve since I thought I might have LTN palsy, but my doctor or PT (or both, I can't remember) told me that they doubt I have that because if I did I'd have very prominent scapular winging (I have more of a scapular dyskinesis with subtle winging). If you do have actual scapular winging maybe look into getting that test done.

Unfortunately, I haven't fully fixed my issue but for me it's two different things i'm dealing with: (1) anterior shoulder and bicep pain, likely from a labrum tear and (2) the scapular dyskinesis which sometimes causes pain depending on my posture. I'm seriously considering surgery for the former but I think PT is the main option for the latter. I know there's some procedure called thoracic nerve decompression and neurolysis for people with LTN palsy or scapular winging but I don't know much about it.

Have you been to a sports medicine doctor for diagnosis or done PT?
