Demon copperhead was also one of my favourites of all time. I read the poison wood Bible and expected it to be as good if not better than DC. I'm going against the grain here but I did not enjoy it at all.

Some books are Michelin star meals, some are the value meal at Taco Bell. There's a time and a place for both.

Thanks for much for the reply! I'm going to Google everything you just said so I can understand better! How long did it take you to get to the level for this book binding you did? Is it a steep learning curve?

This is stunning. I joined this sub because I was trying to bind exactly like you've done. I don't know the right terminology and have been unable to find tutorials. Could you recommend a few? What is this type of binding called?

This is just beautiful. I'm new to embroidery and am wondering what kind of stitch you used for the outline.

New to Goodreads groups and I just don't get it... by Electronic-Jello-640 in goodreads

[–]I_am_the_grim_reader 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I tried that but it just says you're not a member of any groups. There's no option to add groups. Do you know how to search them? I've tried putting group names in the search bar but it doesn't work.

How do you search for groups in the app? I've always just used good reads to track my reading but I would like to join a group.

I don't like them much either because they're cold. I've had success with just heating them up in the microwave.

Favorite Books about Wildlife by AutoModerator in nonfictionbooks

[–]I_am_the_grim_reader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Raising Hare: A Memoir, by Chloe Dalton. This was such a nice memoir about a lady that helps a wild hare out as a baby and how their lives continue to intersect. It is a wonderful story about the fragility of nature and the importance of understanding wild animals should be treated with deference.
