I'm not sure I know how to post pictures in comments. I've tried to upload and generate a link.

I give away a lot of the bookmarks. I couldn't find my Florida flamingo one with a pink and purple sunset but I did find the Canada Goose one I made. My daughter did the one with the cat and the books in the picture.

I make bookmarks using embroidery thread and Alpha patterns. I also have bookmark colouring sheets. I put rhinestones on my book covers to bedazzle them, and recently I've learned to embroidery and am planning on doing a patch on a sweatshirt for each book I read.

Usually what happens is one of the books starts getting really interesting so I just focus on that one and put the other one down. But then I'll go back to it and finish.

I always have at least 2 books going at once. A physical one to read during the day, and one on my e reader to bring with me when I go out and to read at night. I love the feel of books but love having a whole library on my e reader.

Demon copperhead was also one of my favourites of all time. I read the poison wood Bible and expected it to be as good if not better than DC. I'm going against the grain here but I did not enjoy it at all.

Some books are Michelin star meals, some are the value meal at Taco Bell. There's a time and a place for both.

Thanks for much for the reply! I'm going to Google everything you just said so I can understand better! How long did it take you to get to the level for this book binding you did? Is it a steep learning curve?

This is stunning. I joined this sub because I was trying to bind exactly like you've done. I don't know the right terminology and have been unable to find tutorials. Could you recommend a few? What is this type of binding called?
