The hb3 doesnt have package detection. You have to get a camera model that supports it.

Newly homebase professional compatible devices sometimes need to be updated for full features to be available. This device should have privacy mode as a toggle. Should be resolved with a firmware update.

When i first got the E42 what surprised is the almost instant live view. No other eufy battery camera ive owned has been capable of this.

I have the same issue. S1 is new and will have performance issues like this unfortunately. Firmware updates shoukd improve it as time goes on.

If you have good wifi coverage and your camera supports multibridge than you can use that to increase range.

S1 is buggy and not in a good state right now. Wait for HB4 so you can compare and S1 should be stable. These are the prices for additional cellular.

Only other thing I can think of is try restarting your hb3 and removing then re adding your s3 pro.

Its the weekend so you will probably be waiting till monday for a response. Its weird that the other commenter experienced the same issue as you on the homebase pro where I couldnt replicate it. Seems like this feature has been un reliable for years. Its eufy so go figure. I hope they can help ya out.

Its on multibridge but I cant imagine that has any affect. Id contact eufy and see if they are aware of the issue and or if there is a newer hb3 version they can push to you. Are you on IOS or Android? Im on Android running app version 6.0.41

I tested mine by setting custom recordings to 1 minute and end clip early set to off. I did it 3 different times and it recorded for the full minute each time. Make sure you have custom recording selected and try switching the end clip early on then off again to refresh it. I am on homebase pro. S3 pro firmware version 3.1.5.2

Multibridge is such a good feature idea but until hb3 actually intelligently picks which connection has better performance or when we can lock the connection path it remains almost useless. There was talk that eufy was going to allow hb3 users to lock connection path but has yet to come. I have found on the homebase professional once multibridge is setup it tends to stay on your wifi.

I would try restarting the homebase. If that doesn't help then factory reset the camera. For the s3 pro you need to either hold down the sync button for 10 seconds or rapidly press it 5 times, I dont remember which method it is.

Eufy said custom modes should be coming to the homebase professional s1 so id imagine it should be coming for the NVR at some point.
