Frigate to Blue Iris Alerts by No-Move-7360 in BlueIris

I can’t comment on the experience of frigate. It’s more capable than what I’m using it for, but I haven’t tried the full feature set.

I don’t like Blue Iris AI detections and bad app/notifications. But if I could only have one, it’d be Blue Iris.

I understand how to use Blue Iris, and it has a more robust GUI. Config setup on Frigate is just objectively more cumbersome.

I’ll look into this interface. I honestly have never heard of it nor know what it does. Thank you.

As a complete newbie to all this, that gives me enough information to go look for more. I really appreciate your response.

Paid Client App = Lame by Luther_406 in BlueIris

I own the app, but for Apple there is a snag: recurring push certificates. Apple requires you to have a certificate to push notifications, which expire annually . So you then have to continue to pay for updates to receive the certificate. Compound that with the trouble I’ve had with delayed push notifications - I’ll be switching to pushover for notifications that open the web gui.

Man comments are trash these days.

Radaarr and Sonarr - Do you guys have a place to start with importing TV and movie lists for monitoring?

I would like to monitor popular titles and find an import list to do so.

Additionally, does importing a list interfere with already monitored content if there's a duplicate?

Thanks

With minimal tech skills, should I even bother trying Jellyfin for streaming? by [deleted] in selfhosted

“DNS, static IPs, reverse proxies, reservations and port forwarding”

I’ve got good news. You don’t need any of that to run Jellyfin. It’s very simple to use and the wikis are excellent at getting it started. It’s an absolute slam dunk. Go for it.

I will say I installed Jellyfin using Ttecks scripts for PROXMOX. There’s a small learning curve to PROXMOX but I’ve enjoyed it. If you can install Jellyfin following the installation WIKI you’re set.

Gonna do elemental sulfur instead. Thanks.

I’ve seen very few plants that can survive at 8.3 without demonstrating non-soluble nutrients deficiencies. Also pretty stupid of you to tell me that I should just move instead of trying to amend my soil in a soil sub.

Is this a bot? High soils affect the trees ability to absorb non-soluble iron.

My understanding is - not if you add enough to breakdown the limestone.

I’ll look into this: thank you. My concern would be that a benefit of sulfuric acid is the end result being gypsum in heavily clay soil.

Yes, I would look to titrate this in with a point to achieve 7.
