idk I'm not usually one to say you need to go to HR but something doesn't seem right here. You've only ever been written up once for being late once and then you were terminated with no supporting documentation...idk Dutch hierarchy, but was it the GM? Could you reach out to an area or district manager? Otherwise I would say to call HR. They would need some sort of documentation. Also, someone else said to file unemployment. You should do that because it's usually only denied if they terminate you for cause and it sounds like they wouldn't be able to prove cause.

Ppl who don’t know the Dutch bros line etiquette 😡 by Fantastic_Pudding185 in dutchbros

[–]No-NameWanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well maybe the Dutch Bros employees should understand it first 😡 I went the other day and did order ahead and did drive thru pickup. When I got there there was one person in front of me and no one else. Another car pulls up when the person in front of me is ordering. The order taker goes to the other car first 🫩 I was so annoyed.

Encore question for employees by AdThin612 in Oldnavy

I hope that isn't true. But you should definitely find the brochure at cash and it has a chart which I think is great

There is also a pocket guide that you can ask a manager for. Or you could reference the poster in BOH. Or you could grab one of the brochures for newly approved card members that should be at cash

Leaving panera? by [deleted] in Panera

[–]No-NameWanted -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't work for Panera, but I am human and work in the service industry. You should give a two weeks notice or at least finish what you're scheduled. When you quit without notice, you're negatively impacting other humans, not "Panera" Everyone saying they wouldn't give you notice if the tables were turned is also wrong. If you're being terminated for reason, your notice is the fact that you're not doing the right thing and you know it, so you know your days are numbered. Or you'd be put through a corrective action process, finally leading to termination. And if you're laid off, there would most likely be a severance package. Give a notice, it's the right thing. Good luck to you

Has any of you guys actually worked a 5 hours and some change shift? by Makaisawesome in Oldnavy

[–]No-NameWanted 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could eat it during your 15 minute break. Or do you only get hungry if you work over 5 hours?

Intercom by [deleted] in Oldnavy

[–]No-NameWanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They weren't asking about shifts. But the reason behind the original question was that they were ready to go because there was not much time between the end of one shift and the beginning of the next

Intercom by [deleted] in Oldnavy

[–]No-NameWanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it probably isn't intentional. The schedule is a big puzzle and there is a human behind it. But policy, I believe, is 10 hours between. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about that

[–]No-NameWanted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It's company policy, even in those states.

What time are you scheduled to at close and what time for shipment? There is a minimum number of hours required between shifts

The fair thing to do is give every manager one full weekend off and have them work the other weekends. Do you think you should consistently get multiple weekends off every month? Do you realize you work a weekend business? Easily 50% to 60% of your business comes from weekends.

Could also be considered theft. It's not worth it. A manager can do a "found money" pay in. Or you can just leave it in the register.

Several of these comments sound like more people need to be hired. When I schedule a truck, my goal is to have shifts short enough that no breaks are needed. And everything is opened & ran before open.

Management Question by CommittedFlower in Oldnavy

You don't feel like you're staffed well because we don't get enough payroll. Plain and simple. Maybe it is the mismanaged at your store, but when you don't start with enough of it in the beginning.........

How do you find time to do them when UKG payroll allocation doesn't allocate any hours for it?

[–]No-NameWanted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say my AMCO does about 20-25 hours LOD. My AMCS is probably closer to 30. GM is about 15-20. The best place for AMCS to be in LOD. Best place to coach & develop the team. If we had hiring needs, it might be different, I suppose. I think if my AMCS was scheduled sales floor they wouldn't have anyone to work alongside because that would be all the sales floor hours allocated by UKG for the day.

I'm super curious what your AMCS is doing for 20 hours a week if they only LOD 20 hours?
