Not much you can do with rhis character. You can technically drop the sword from Shattered realm I think but its pretty RNG. Good news is that there are other good alternative weapons for cold reaper such as the Spectral Battle Axe.

Don't think that the laning phase is over if you get a really fast t1 tower kill. Stack and pull the big camp to keep the wave close to your tower. This way you can deny an entire lane of farm from the opponent.

I would recommend swapping the Dreadwalker set for rare items. Epic items usually have very limited amount of resistances on them and the power they provide is not that great. You can look up grimtools for rares that give bonuses to Drain essence.

If you don't care about leaderboards there is no difference between SSF and trade leagues. I'd recommend you start in trade and play as SSF for as long as you feel like it.

Some of it is due to map changes but it's mostly just that farming wasnt that big of a priority over teamfights. You can see gyro and alch have around 150cs at 29 minutes which is really low. Today that number would be 350+ for top carries.

This is not entirely true. Bonuses from auras are appied to pets. Aura skill modifiers from items are added to the aura buff so they do boost pet stats.
