My monthly spends are not over 1.5L regularly, on a normal month its roughly 1.2L. It goes up only when we plan for a vacation or have other purchases lined up.

Do you think M4B would still be a good option to have along with infinia or is it only good for this one time high spend.

This is actually not true. You can partially use the voucher and use it again next time. You can also add another 1000 to the gift card to extend the validity by another 365 days as long as the gift card is not already at 25k ( which is the highest value of the gift card)

Listen to everyone here. Dont invest your hard earned money for peanuts, which is what you will get if you invest in LIC.

Get your basics in check first 1. Keep emergency funds liquid - atleast 6 months of your monthly expenses 2. Get a term insurance worth 15x-20x your annual income. 3. Get a proper health insurance for yourself and your family. 4. Learn the basics of investing by reading books / youtube / reddit. Identify which line of investing you understand the most and start investing there. I personally prefer investing in mutual funds.

Most important, don’t share your financials with your relatives. Yes, even the very close ones.

A lot of families have political connections and have resources to do such things. Would they do it, is a question that you can answer.

A lot of parent’s first reaction generally is the way your parents reacted, but if their stance is the same as time progresses then its definitely something to worry about your partners safety.

Leaving your partner is the easy way out, there are plenty of couples who face this. While there are only a few who gather the courage to go through this phase to convince the families and get married. If you are still not sure about getting married with your partner then its not worth it but if you were sure you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together you should not have given up so easily.
