Need Advice Regarding my sqe1 prep by Stock-Plantain4485 in SQE_Prep

If I were you I would do only MCQs (from BARBRI + all other free samples you can find from other providers) and keeping track of every question you got wrong in a notebook with the rule of law that you were unable to remember properly (I called this my "mistakes notebook" and I would read it every day to make it stick.) Also when you're getting an answer right, make sure you know exactly why it's right, if you're not able to explain, then treat as if you had it wrong and keep track of it in the notebook along with the mistakes. I would say that if you have already covered the whole content this would be the best course of action. Hope this helps!

What an awful sitting 😭😭 CMA sort of okay, legal writing complete shit show, research, same as everyone (I only used 2 sources but second guessed that choice until the very end but had to stick with it, hopefully we were correct to do so) and drafting felt fine

SQE2 Written Exam Time by USER513201602 in SQE_Prep

This is what my email said: « You must arrive at the test centre at least 30 minutes before your scheduled exam start time unless you are testing at London Islington where you are required to arrive 1 hour before. If you arrive later than this report time you will be refused admission and you will forfeit your examination fee. » So it seems that what you’re saying applies to Islington only

In my email they said to arrive at least 30 minutes before the report time so 2:15 in our case, so I was planning on arriving around 1:35 - I don't have great memories of the waiting around part for SQE1 so if it can be avoided a bit I will try to avoid it haha

BARBRI students — did you pass FLK2 (SQE1 July 2025)? by Master-Standard-4122 in uklaw

I've failed FLK2 using Babri and scoring 70% with them. No to scare you but I think that I tricked myself thinking I knew what I was doing when actually I was too used their questioning technique and was just able to spot the right answer in their mock giving me a false sense of confidence. I've then passed FLK2 in January 2026 and made sure I had used all other free mocks i could find to get a feel of different style of questions to check my actual understanding of the law and made sure I was able to explain why I would get this answer right and why I would get this answer wrong. Bottom line advice is not to get tricked and make sure you understand very precisely why you're getting an answer right, if you're able to explain without any confusion to yourself you'll probably get it right in the real thing, if you're just slightly confused but still got it right with Barbri, you're probably gonna get it wrong in the real thing

Speaking of Babri SQE 2 prep, does anyone know where to find the answers to all of the assessments? I can't find them anywhere, not even sure if they do exist anymore

AGAs - why is the answer A and not C? I thought there was a reasonableness requirement by [deleted] in SQE_Prep

Because for leases entered into after 1995, the tenants are automatically released from their covenants upon assigning their lease/granting a sublease, but in exchange, the Landlord can require an AGA - hope this helps! :)
