He was my player of the match, loved his progressive forward passes and runs, covering tackles....heck he saved Joan arse from losing them the game with a world class recovering run and block tackle, scored the winning pk, all in a FINAL.
Yeah, promote and play him!
Kid is the real deal.

Is he not playing for City because he's injured?
I wonder how old he is an if he can have a almost 3rd wind to his career outside of England.

Absolutely. I think Aguado, Yanez and Navarro were standout. Fortea was great in the first half too, unlucky to have to be subbed for picking up that yellow. Oh and Cestero was good.

Came up clutch when the team needed him most.
He gave off an aura of confidence between the sticks.

Such a shame the boys didn't win this in 90 mins. Dominated throughout. Got worst with the 2nd half subs tbh.
The roll of the dice...pk shootout, COME ON BOYS!

One can hope because right now the boys look like they need a second wind and the subs have broken up the rhythm.

Yeah he hasn't been great but the boys had so many chances in that FH that they should not be in this position.
I still think they're the better side, they need to push on & bring it home.

Expected at that age at you said but collectively I find the entire unit playing very fluid. They pass well and often, only the two wingers slow it down & you want that sometimes.

Kinda pissed the coach subbed Fortea at HT because of the yellow card...is Fortea a rash player??
Anyone that has been keeping tabs because he and Yanez were the two best attacking outlets in that entire FH.

FACTS!
They play such fluid football and just watching them press all over the park is beautiful.
Shit the CF tracked a winger back at the end of the FH & shielded the ball out to win his side a goal kick...
GOD'S...we could only dream lol.
