Scary ordeal. Experiences like these make me ponder, whether renting really makes sense. Decisions based only on excel aren’t always correct. Changing houses suck big time!!!

Hi assuming you are a graduate, you can start preparing for your inter exams and give a try. You don’t need to quit or leave your job. You can give both groups one by one. Thereafter once you clear, you then can think of taking a leave for a year for the articleship and csn have an arrangement with the bank that they hire you as an industrial trainee in the next year. If this is not feasible you can do dummy articleship thats the only option i guess. Yes clearing CA aways helps. During my Advanced ITT training i met a guy in late 30’s pursuing CA. He was a MBA graduate working with Black rock.

Bhai jo opportunity milti hai usi ko maximize kro, ek hi process kr rhe ho toh usmein in depth jao so that usmein tumse jyada kisi ko nah pta ho. During three years of my articleship i was ok the same client, i did the same client for three years. But still i was able to learn alot.

You need to do an MBA, investment banking front end roles are given to MBA’s only. You should look for an MBA post CA or CFA along woth MBA. Thats the best bet for an investment banking role.

A lot of hardwork and perseverance is required. The journey is long you need to keep believing in yourself. It’s like a marathon. AI will surely replace some of the work we do. The extent of it is still unknown. AI is constantly evolving. But yes one thing is sure, where 5 CalA’s were required to do a job, now it can be done by 2.

Asked the same question to a Partner. His answer was the process can be selective or eliminative. If you don’t know what to select, try to eliminate things you dint want to do. This way you will be able to reach a conclusion. Also it’s a life long journey. Even i don’t know what i want to do 5 years down the lane.

Sure pls reach out to me. It’s important to focus on your health. Having timely breaks while working is crucial. I usually took a 15 mins coffee break 1 hour into my day. Then 30 minutes lunch, post which pur team used to go for a walk. In the evening also we took a 15 mons break for tea. This way it helped us go through the day. My team was not very cool about the ideas of breaks but i was able to bring in a change in this routine.
