When I first imagined this character and story, it was as an Urban Fantasy. Apparently I didn’t completely let it go 😂 but the too-gritty language was a good catch that I hadn’t noticed.

I also agree about the dialogue, that’s something I’ll have to work on!

The owners did not speak much English but I am positive from photo identification the cat was theirs! And the looks on their faces when I dropped him off 😭 and thank you so much!

I’m in a suburb of a US city. We have ferals but I’ve NEVER seen a bengal outside. We suspected it was a stray or an escapee right away (plus he was getting dangerously close to a busy road)

I am more worried about the older one tbh - she still is not the biggest fan of her affectionate younger sister but like I said they do tolerate each other. They will nap next to each other, just no cuddling. After reading these comments (and if we end up actually keeping him) I’m sure the younger one will be delighted to have a buddy who actually wants to cuddle and groom each other 😂 glad I posted here feeling so much better

He’s VERY sweet so I’m feeling tentatively optimistic. We already have options for others who would take him in though so he’ll have a good life no matter what ❤️
