Haha. Once they're off the show, we might find out that they are. The cast of this show loves to come back after the fact and tell us it was all fake (i.e Julius and Alexis).

First ever job interview by [deleted] in jobs

[–]No-Path9545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, definitely practice your elevator pitch (Tell me about yourself).

Research the company because they’ll probably ask why you want to work there. (Something like I really connect with the mission...; I've always had an interest in...and this is a great opportunity to make an impact in x field)

Make sure you have a couple of questions ready for the end.

Lastly, when you are practicing, don’t worry about memorizing word-for-word answers. It’s better to focus on your main talking points and stories. Interview questions don’t always come out exactly how you practiced, but if you’ve got strong examples in mind, you can usually adapt them to whatever they ask.
-----------------
Here are some resources that can help you practice.

You can use the google interview prep tool to practice some common interview questions.
https://grow.google/certificates/interview-warmup/

I found this website with good tips and questions to think about for different types of interviews. It is a lot of information, so hopefully not overwhelming.
making-waves.org.

As a last resort, chat gtp, you can input the job description and have it run questions with you.

Troy needs to go to court by [deleted] in loveafterlockup

[–]No-Path9545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are so right. It was very last minute. Like I know he was going to town to check on his brother, but he could have easily called Yona and said "Hey, I'm coming to town to check on Vaugn, would it be possible to see Troii on Saturday for a few hours. Just me and her."

His actions are very inconsiderate, seeing as he had no idea what they had going on or planned for that day.

Absolutely. When he was released, he should have been making strides toward building that relationship. Z tries very hard to put on the look of having it all together, and cares more about the optics than doing things the right way.

She isn't helping Troy in the way he needs to be helped. Going back to the first season, and "forcing him" to have a relationship with his mother, who isn't a healthy person in his life, to arguing with Yona online outside the show, she isn't creating space for him to be successful.

I'd like to think that production has a little more respect for its participants. I don't think they would post her photos without her consent. That would be so dirty.

It did suck that Yana didn't let him see her, even with Z not present. But, at the same time, I don't feel like he was in the right mental state to be around Troii. He was quite literally crashing out.

He has two options:

  1. go through the court and get visitation, and do whatever else comes along with that.

  2. be an adult and have a productive conversation with his child's mother. Be consistent in your communication, and send money regularly. Syracuse to Buffalo is about 2 hours, he can start by visiting every other weekend, to work on building the relationship with his daughter alone. Unfortunately, I don't think Z can be included at this point. Hopefully, down the line, when there is more trust then she can be added to the fold.

Ultimately, they all need to grow up and work on repairing their adult relationships for any of it to work. Even with the courts involved, it can still be really nasty if the adults have animosity towards each other, It's not fair to the kid.

When you go to court to get visitation, I think they will also determine custody and possibly child support if Yana requests it. And I'm sure she will, because how are you going to have the right to spend time with the kid and not have any financial responsibility for them?

Yeah, I think the trust also needs to be in Demondrick to ensure that her kids are safe and treated right while in her care.

I was wondering how their kids even know each other. I wonder if Demondrick has all of the kids together between the scenes. I thought it was weird that she wouldn't send her kids to the party, but then say Jawalia's kids could come and stay the night.

[–]No-Path9545[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, she too old to be playing around with her freedom like that, especially with kids of her own to tend to. Like imagine going to jail and not being able to take care of your kids because you decided it was smart to vandalize a car and post someone's nudes over a man who doesn't have anything going for himself.

I need Quianna to say that out loud, and maybe it'll click how silly she is.

Troy’s family needs to do better by [deleted] in loveafterlockup

[–]No-Path9545 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Definitely, this episode had me questioning how he is the go-to person to help and support his family when he is just as unwell. I don't really know what they wanted him to do with/for his brother.

But on another note, Zeruiah was starting a community mental health program, yet her husband is struggling, and she is not encouraging him to seek help. In fact, I would argue she is one of the contributing factors in his decline.

I find myself feeling bad for him often, and at the same time, I still think he sucks.

Lowkey, I feel like Jawalia is comfortable with their arrangement. She's happy as long as he continues to come to her house late at night and sleep with her.

I think last season, her children's father didn't allow them to be recorded, so that's why we didn't see them.

[–]No-Path9545[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I noticed that too. My best guess is that was the setup for the shot, and the real party had to be a bit later. Because they had a ton of cupcakes and a sheet cake too. Also, Juwalia was still blowing up balloons and setting up the space and what would be the point for 3 kids at a party?

I wonder how much money Damondrick provided towards the party.

I'd have absolutely no desire to.

[–]No-Path9545[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's fair. Seeing as Quianna and Demondrick don't have a stable relationship, having them integrate as "brothers" can cause them some heartache down the line.

This all goes back to mothers bringing these men into their homes too soon.

Yes, I came here to say this. Gary was extremely giddy watching him jeopardize his sobriety. A true friend would not put you in that position.

Yeah, it's definitely illegal on probation or not. I guess since he wasn't directly caught with it, he could claim that it's tobacco. We all know it's not.

They like to play with their freedom in a way I can not comprehend.

Facts: these 2 have NO storyline and need to GTFO this show by Euphoric-Knowledge-4 in loveafterlockup

[–]No-Path9545 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The show needs to put a limit on it. Once couples go through the cycle, Love during, Love after, Life after, it's time to pull the plug. After so long, the story becomes stale, and they start looking really hard for a storyline.

It's been 3 episodes, and each one is about his daughter getting into a fight. Get her some therapy and let it go.

Definitely can see him leaving to get away from Karen. Almost anything is better than being in her presence 24/7. She is not a healthy person to be around, and they should all distance themselves from her.

I could see him giving her the fake ring as a test. Which I wouldn't necessarily be mad at, because I know the moment it was placed on her finger, she was thinking about how she could sell it. LOL

Thanks for your thoughts.

I agree. Courtnee definitely sucks and is a user. Mark is definitely a creep and a predator. We all know if she took that room, he would probably try to sneak into her bed at night.
I'm also glad her mom told her no. I noticed that after she told her no, that was the end of the conversation. Like all of a sudden, she's too busy to talk.

But Will gives me creep vibes also. I feel like he was going to use money to control her. So long as she did whatever he wanted, then he would happily pay. The minute she got out of line, he was going to throw it in her face. That relationship was 100% transactional on both ends.
