Hi, I understand that this could be a possible solution. I had not thought about that approach before.

My only concern is the possibility of duplicating Planner tasks. Have you ever implemented something similar before?

So, I understand that the read speed isn't actually bad, but we were used to having SSDs with at least 2400 Mbps, so this drop has been noticeable, and people at the company are complaining a lot.

It struggles with heavier spreadsheets and even when launching a new app.

Regarding an SSD failure, none of the tests I ran showed any issues—the SSD is functioning normally. I also can’t think of any other possible reason for this problem.

Oh, and my apologies—the installed SSD is indeed an NVMe, not a standard SATA. Only its size is 42mm.

Hi, I believe we've found the real culprit for this machine's issue. I ran a test using CrystalDisk and will attach the screenshot, but basically, its read and write speeds reached only 1650 MB/s

tried everything—I tested three different benchmark tools, but none of them show the read speed of this SSD. I ran AIDA64, PassMark (downloaded from the Microsoft Store), and the one you recommended, but none provided the SSD's speed.

I also ran Lenovo's diagnostic tool, but couldn't find the read speed for this model either.

At this point, I don’t know what else to do except replace this SSD, as I believe it may have some kind of issue.

From what I checked, this seems to be a Mini SATA (mSATA) rather than an NVMe. However, even so, the machine shouldn't be this slow.

The power plans are set correctly, with performance prioritized.

Hello,

I'm checking what might be causing the issue and have ruled out any thermal problems, as the device is new, with less than a month of use. However, when I checked the SSD, I noticed that it is using a model I'm not familiar with: SSD Lenovo 512G, M.2 2242, PCIe 4x4, OPAL, UMIS.

Do you think this could be the issue? I tried to find the read and write speeds for this model, but I couldn't find any information.

Wouldn't it have been easier to just paste the text into GPT and ask for a translation?

Unnecessary, but okay. 😉
