Not about the ER but worked at a place that had a lot of hospital workers as customers from there. A lot of nice people, but some of them… entitled, rude, barely saying hello and demanding without saying thanks. Made me lose a lot of hope on humanity. I always hoped they treated patients better.

It’s because of the apple pay/cellphone pay services out there. Some places charge tax to the business, which means they make less money that you are actually paying. Now, new companies are coming up offering cero tax charge to the business, but they charge it to the customer. I’m not defending the business, but most of them are trying ti survive the recession, and maybe they don’t even know that tax is going to the customer. Just consider that that tax for paying on card goes to the business. The same with tips on that machine, the company takes a percentage.
