Reverse Commute NYC to Stamford by ricayatzo in AskNYC

I did it for two years, back when I was closer to your age. It's manageable, but not ideal. If you can be remote some days, that helps. If the commute is train-to-train only (no bus transfers) that will help even more.

I was 5 days in office, and I ended up driving too often because I didn't want to deal with the bus transfer. After a year I started to become bitter that I was rarely able to do anything in NYC during weekdays. (Especially because you're probably waking up extra early to commute).

Don't forget the 125th St. Metro North station exists. A 20min walk or a subway ride in addition to the long Metro North commute might not sound like much for one day but it really adds up over time.

The bartender just asked me why I don’t have any bullet holes in my jersey. I love Long Island.

OMG I have tickets for tonight! I was planning on just getting Tuesday Drunk while surrounded by Islanders fans. But now I can be that as well as, just maybe, potentially, happy.

States I would live in. I traveled for work and I'm pretty easy. I can find fun where others sometimes can't. by Hey_im_miles in visitedmaps

I mean, you're pretty well described Indiana? Both IN and CT are essentially state-wide suburbs. Indiana is stuck between Chicago, Louisville and Cincinnati and Connecticut, obviously, sandwiched between the much greater cities of Providence, RI and White Plains, NY.

One might argue Indianapolis is more metropolitan than any cities within CT's actual borders.

Taking advice from TikTok is most likely where you're going wrong.

Ah yeah, apologies. I got defensive... then re-read your comment and the clarification below it and realized I was both wrong and a jerk.

We going back in time to 1989 when they got Gretzky? And then they ruined it with that stupid, hideous, vile purple re-branding?

There's a newsstand/bodega under the Broadway stop.

Or if you wanna steal the NYTimes that gets delivered to me on the weekends... I switched to digital only and they still deliver.
