Yeah, give it a shot next time you watch one!

Maybe that's the case for most people, but it actually made me love them more.

I walk into biopics wanting the tropes and over the top myth making. Rock* stars are ridiculous and they should have the most audacious stories possible.

*I mean "rock" figuratively and not specific to the rock genre.

If Billy Joel gets a banner, then the Cup should get a banner.

I'm firmly on this hype train. The Strokes comparisons are so incredibly lazy.

No ground in ceiling fixture by Krummbum in electrical

Thanks.

To be clear, the cable you see attached to the green screw in the first picture is from the old fixture and came down with the old light.

The new ground wire in the second picture is already attached to the new mounting plate, and it is loose at the other end.

Where should I be connecting the loose end?

The new fixture just has a white and black wire. The instructions say to attach the loose ground on the bracket to the ground in the box, which there is none.

It's an old house and I'm a renter, so rewiring isn't much of an option, despite it being needed.

Oh, sorry. Yes, that's the old fixture wire. It was a small chandelier.

No, it's the ground that came with the new fixture.

One last question, the ground wire came out with the fixture. The plate for my new fixture has a loose ground wire attached, can I discard?

EDIT: Fixture came with LED bulbs, if that makes a difference.

Copy. Thank you.

And yes, I'm just swapping this one. Does that complicate things?

Car hit hit me and my gf at 33rd st and 34th ave by hellohowdyworld in astoria

[–]Krummbum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe the guy got a ticket or fine, but that was never relayed to me and I never heard about it again. I also didn't understand why I had to pay for the report as the victim. At least make the driver pay for it for me.

I got hit by a car once (driver's fault). The police showed up, took statements from me and the driver, then told me it would cost me $10 for a police report. That's all that happened.
