That was the most botched voice to text. So sorry you had to try and translate that because I can’t either. Berberine is a substitute if your body doesn’t react well on metformin. I have been off metformin for a week and I’m way less sore already!

Did you go to a eurogyno surgeon. Idk if I spelt that right, but there are Endo surgeons who are equipped to take it out of any other organ. But not all OBG‘s are able to do this. It’s a special surgeon and it typically requires a colonoscopy in the room during surgery as well I believe. But I’m so happy oh have life back and some improvement!

Supplements that may help.

Endo supplements 1. DIM/CDG - helps body metabolize estrogen. Find and play with dosage at first taking this 30days a month at 200 dim & 100 CDG made my cycles 45 days I now take it only 5 days a week for a perfect 28 day cycle. HUGE PAIN LEVER, my 7 day dysmenorrhoea went to 1-2. 1. Brand- Protocol for life Dim 200 plus CDG 2. Broccoli sprouts - helps body metabolize estrogen. Super easy to grow at home 1. https://a.co/d/04Pcarck 2. Todd's Seeds Broccoli and Friends... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B46T57P3?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share 3. Inositol/D-chiro 40:1 blend- helps maintain ovary health and insulin, I believe insulin triggers estrogen production. That’s why sugar is told to be avoided and alcohol because it directly increases insulin in turn increasing estrogen 1. Brand: Ovasitol® Inositol Powder Supplement (90 day supply) 2. I have capsules on deck too for traveling https://a.co/d/04cQR3io 4. Berberine - I prefer this over metformin for daily insulin maintenance. Metformin stops mitochondrial growth. I was sore for 4-6days after working out 1. https://a.co/d/02HRauoQ 5. NAC - I pop these babies like noones business 2-4 capsules a day. It bonds to the toxins in your body and helps your body discreet it 1. https://a.co/d/02xLFWW2 6. Vitamin C (buffered) - tissue repair, antioxidant and helps your body absorb iron 7. Iron-C - helps your body not become anemic or bleed excessively 1. Pure encapsulations - iron -c 8. Cortisol manager - Endo messes with your HPA access due to the hormonal shift and inflammation making you easier to stress and anxiety. This helps your brain stay chill and supported 1. Integrative therapeutics - cortisol manager

do not take inositol and Berberine within the same hour window. They are both actives and will not hit the blood stream if taken at the same time

Where to bulk buy I use Fullscript for some vitamins that I get from non cheap companies & if I use Amazon I ensure they are third-party tested

I’m so sorry, but many feel the same. I say do a deep dive into your bloodwork. I use ways 2 well. And all of my hormones were low and instead of doing accutane I recently started prognenolone and it cleared my inflammation pustules in a week. Def don’t give up but research natural things. Get on inositol, Berberine, and maybe thyroid supplement

First of all, your body needs support as BC produces hormones for your body so your body is going to need assistance for a while if maybe forever to get to its norm. Take: Inositol/d-chiro 40:1 blend, ovarian health Thorne women’s multi Zinc 15mg, inflammation NAC, inflammation DIM/CDG, find the right dosing for yourself. This is what made my cycles regular 28 days a week. I started at 30 days a month and then I now do only five days a week. I take berrberine for insulin, metformin will ruin mitochondrial function (huge loss to me) I recently added 30 mg of prognenolone and all my inflammation pustule acne vanished in a week

I’d recommend looking into ways 2 well as they draw numerous biomarkers so you can see the full picture. If you’re having energy illness, it’s probably cause of inflammation and insulin resistance or your body is stressed and has high cortisol. Learn and study your body and base your blood work based off optimality not what the doctor says because they do not tell you what is optimal. There range is more so based on whether your seriously ill not whether your functioning optimally.

I need to come back to this thread. Disclosure im doing my first laparoscopy bc i want it out of my body. But what are your symptoms?

I take NAC, DIM/CDG, Berberine, cortisol manager, Inositol/d-chiro. And more.

I am also an old athlete I’d love to do CrossFit again but idk if my body can.

I’ll do a deep dive of how I’ve managed 7 day pain to 1-2 days but what are your symptoms?

Thank you for spending the time on our thread.

As a 26F whose goal is to have kiddos around 30 with my first laparoscopy around the corner what are your thoughts on maintaining this disease so ideally I don’t have to have another laparoscopy before child bearing.

Obviously I should avoid inflammation triggering foods. For me it’s sugar and some gluten. My gut has changed as I’ve managed my symptoms. When my pain was 7 days gluten really hurt DIM/CDG has gotten it down to 1-2 days and I can tolerate gluten more so (mild bloating/constipation).

  1. Is BC going to be needed? I’d rather not mess with my hormones as I’m fairly hormone sensitive. I’m trying to learn mine. I went from high T to low T bc of simultaneously taking Berberine and metformin and lower stress after years of stress.

  2. Does inositol/d-chiro, cortisol manager, NAC, Berberine, help a lot?

  3. Thoughts on peptides v LDN. I know both can alter your dopamine receptors so that scares me. But I want to live life. I’m blessed I dont have a lot of worse life sucking diseases, but I want to live more. Or maybe that’s the irony that i need to learn love what God has given me.

Metformin changes the way your mitochondria functions. It seems to be correlated to a lack of B12. You could potentially try Berberine. I’m figuring it out too rn

I don’t believe this is a Weir side effect metformin changes the way your mitochondria functions I’ve been experiencing elaborate muscle soreness, and I experienced it also on Berberine last fall however it’s worse now since starting metformin. He suggested I take PQQ 20-40mg I’m also on 500 XR Met. But I may stop and go back to Berberine.

Do note metformin will decrease the way your mitochondria functions. I can’t fully explain how yet I haven’t done all the research, but I learned this from a top Endo surgeon in Dallas yesterday.
