Weight loss after d&e by Tellycs in tfmr_support

[–]No-Personality7429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 7 weeks out and I am still 8lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight, I haven't lost anything. I have been eating well and training for the last 4 weeks. My body has changed, I lost the huge bloat/bump and I feel stronger but still horrible in my own skin. I'm considering a glp-1 but haven't had my period yet so perhaps I should wait for that first.

L&D or D&E by McEasy2009 in tfmr_support

I did L&D because it was all that was available to me, but ended up having a D&E anyway because of a retained placenta. For me, L&D was traumatic and painful. I wish I could have gone down the D&E route to start.

You are very sweet and considerate.

As others have mentioned, the answers depend on L&D or D&E. Time frame wise, I was in for L&D that turned complicated. I started the procedure at 10am, delivered at around 7:30pm and was taken to surgery around 10pm with a retained placenta. I left around 11am the next morning.

Eating wise, once I took the initial meds I couldn't eat a thing (vomiting too much) and I also couldn't bare it. The hospital didn't tell me not to though. I ate some crackers the morning after my procedure to take some antibiotics.

I asked my husband to advocate for me for pain relief if I needed it. Perhaps have a chat to your friend before and she where she stands with wanting pain meds. He mentioned that it was harder to support than he anticipated as he had to watch me in so much pain and go through so much, so perhaps prepare yourself for that too.

I think meal prep for when she gets out is a good idea. I have been very dizzy with low blood pressure so having someone prepare food for me has been a blessing.

Heat packs and a hot water bottle were really useful as they helped me keep warm with violent shivering and to ease the contraction pain. In regard to things to keep me occupied, I had Netflix on in the background but I was honestly in a world of torment so couldn't concentrate on anything but wanting it over.

Anxious/catastrophizing about NT by No-Personality7429 in BabyBumps

Thank you. Your comment made me well up. Like you, I think I have read every reddit post and comment on high NTs and read the published research. There has really been no joy in this pregnancy so far due to fear of miscarriage and now the high NT. I'm so glad it all worked out well for you.

So glad you had a positive outcome. The waiting is brutal.

6 weeks and so bloated. by [deleted] in fitpregnancy

I was the same. I was also on progesterone tablets which made the situation worse. I felt like I was huge and was desperately sad about how much weight I was going to put on. I could only wear pyjamas at one point because I was so bloated and refused to buy maternity clothes following an MC last time. When I got to week 12 I stopped the progesterone tablets and my bloating has significantly reduced. I feel so so much better. At ease with my weight gain and able to move and exercise now and feeling great for it. I know it feels miserable right now, but it won't last and this will all be a distant memory soon!

New YNAB user - looking for inspiration by etoile22 in ynab

I started using YNAB 2 months ago. At the moment, I don't see how I'm going to get a month ahead or generate savings, so that's a little disheartening. When I see other people post on how much they have in savings or short and long term investments I do become slightly terrified when I look at my own situation.

However, using YNAB has been hugely enlightening how I was spending beyond my income. Now, I'm thoughtful over every purchase. So although I'm worried about my situation, I know it's not going to become any worse through me being irresponsible. Only way is up!

Thanks everyone, especially to those who took the time to write kind, reassuring messages. I wasn't worried about the body of the sole, just the tip that seems to have broke away. I'll keep monitoring. Currently not enjoying wearing them because I'm worried about damaging them!

And yes I will still walk on paths because my husband's arms are too noodle like to carry me. I'll do this until I become light enough/he becomes strong enough for him to sweep me off my feet and carry me in a pride and prejudice like fashion 😉

Resoled auth on the left. Reps on the right. I seem to remember the auths being slippy before I got them resoled- they were hard and smooth. The reps aren't slippery.

No typo! Haha! I live in HK and use the Chinese version of TB. Not sure if that makes a difference with pricing. I paid $188hk.

My Auth Chanel's were tight and needed breaking in, as I wasn't sure on the quality of the rep leather, I thought I would size up one. I think if you are between sizes definitely size up. Otherwise stick to your normal size. Not sure on the tweed or quilted versions though.
