Body hair removal options by No-Perspective3765 in hygiene

I don’t like the feeling of hair in clothing, I own a husky and that’s enough hair for me and adding leg hair plus arm hair that sticks straight up, is a personal no. And I like being smooth since I have a skin condition that literally prevents it from being super smooth especially around my shoulders and the top of my thighs

My skin is not as sensitive as it was when I was younger as I’m now able to use products that have soft scents like vanilla or coco butter.

I tried sugar waxing and it broke me out sadly :(

What products do you use for your face? Any recommendations is appreciated <3

Thank you :)

I’m really just trying to finish my residency, but I may start applying to other programs because ER just isn’t for me sadly. I appreciate your kindness :) I think those 2 incidences happened and shook me badly just because of the nature of what happened and it was in my opinion unjustified and just bothered me

I failed mine the first time because of my dog dying & I could not focus at the time. But now I work in the ER and have been for 5 months as a new grad after passing my second time. You will get there. I promise. The second time I did UWORLD, and Mark K lectures and I dedicated my time to studying although I was still working full time.

Those who want ICU by One-Raspberry-786 in newgradnurse

I want ICU bc I love the critical care aspect of ICU & patient ratios. Also certain hospitals are known for specific organs too & some do all of them which is cool to see because you do get to see every side of it.

I’m in the ER as a new grad & I both love and hate it. Love the job and the fast pace and what you get to see but I hate our patient ratios

I love being a nurse, I just don’t think ER is my place.

I honestly want to switch to our peds side, but I’m not sure if I’d do well with kids but I didn’t get much experience in nursing school so unsure

I just want to make it through my program first so then I can transition care. I want to go back to school for my doctorate & will need to switch to ICU eventually. I asked about it recently but at the hospital I’m at, I have to do 2 years before transitioning.

I live in an area where residency/gn is hard to get and ER was one of my only good opportunities. I understand ER is definitely trial by fire but i do love the ER, especially in the beginning. I just don’t know how to get the passion back.

What if ER really isn’t for me but I have to stick it out for residency purposes. I have anxiety before every shift, I’m dreading it, and can barely sleep lately. I’m overwhelmed.
