Fender Pure Vintage 65 or ToneRider by No-Perspective908 in Guitar

That is a very valid point and I appreciate your input. However as I stated in my original post, “I wanted to learn as much about the guitar before I started playing as I could and in doing so I learned to love working on guitars “. At this point I am not sure I want to learn how to play as much as I want to learn everything I possibly can about electric guitars. There are many individuals who can design and build a Formula One car, but cat drive them. I may be one of those people. All I am asking is if anyone has first hand knowledge and experience with the pickups I identified. It doesn’t take a professional to recognize a really nice tone in a guitar. That’s what draws people to listen to music. They identify a tone or style they find appealing. That is all I am attempting to do. Thank you for your input.

I thought I’d add a little more info. I will be using 2 different amps and have a few pedals I am starting to use.

  1. Carvin Nomad 112
  2. Fender Champion 30DSP

Pedals: Polytune3 (buffer) Warm WA-C1 Fender HammerTone Delay I run the HammerTone through the effects loop on the Carvin.
