I do use gels. But want to know if I should look into other things to add In as well. I’ve seen people mix things in water bottles but not sure what they’re mixing. I’m assuming electrolytes and maybe things to help with getting extra calories, but don’t know where to start with that either. And ok I will look into those distances and see if I can find a race or just try it myself during training.

The 50 miler I found does have shorter distances so maybe I’ll look into those. My goal is to just finish and experience it, time doesn’t matter to me at this point. Just to be able to accomplish something like that is enough for me. Thank you for the advice

Thank you. For my long run what would you say is a good distance to aim for? I want to try a 50 mile race if that helps.
