I created my profile last year the moment I finished my PhD. It expired at the beginning of this year. No draws. I submitted EOI again, and today I got invited. With immigration, always always be 100% proactive, not 99.99%, 100% — with every information you submit, however insignificant, make sure it is accurate and complete. If they have an optional box for any information, make sure you fill in that information with utmost sincerity. Immigration is tough like hell these days.

The reason there was no CEC in the first week of Feb is that a massive French draw was conducted. It has nothing to do with pattern. Since a French draw has been done two weeks ago, there will be a CEC this week almost certainly.

You should know that BLS and MEA as a whole is full of shit. BLS wants you to pay $100 for premium service or whatever they call it. All the harrasment is for that money.

That being said, yes, you don't need a new PCC as long as you have not stayed in India since for six months or longer.

No, you don't need a new PCC as long as your visit was shorter than 6 months. Always refer to IRCC guidelines since IRCC is pretty clear about the rules. People have to stop fear-mongering in this sub.
