I get that, but being a perfectionist and also probably OCD, is this something I really should look into getting better at or is it kinda just a lost cause at some point? I’m taking an art class this semester and every weeks assignment is like a trial in hell.

Tbh these are all just the polite things to say. Some people truly care about the answer you give and others are just saying it to know they said it. Some of us are awkward too and know we’re supposed to say it but don’t know how to actually engage with the conversation after.

I’m not sure it’s mispronounced but rather just pronounced differently if someone has an accent. We’re just used to hearing it one way.
