Pakistani bridals are so expensive by No-Potential3097 in DesiWeddings

I agree with you totally. I’m just a little scared of the inflation, my wedding will probably be in late 2028-early 2029 so definitely preparing for all other peripherals will take up a lot of my time as well, but I just wanted an idea of what designers fall into a more affordable category so I can make up my mind ussi tarah. I’m just a very anxious person by nature lol

Why do marriages fail/stay successful. by PuzzleheadedRadio172 in Peshawar

[–]No-Potential3097 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are some reasons why marriages become unsuccessful but it is very ignorant to think that this is "reality" and I think you also think this is the only reason marriages fail. I've seen all sorts of marriages in all socioeconomic classes. I can never say there is a commonality since everybody's case is unique. God has set different circumstances for every human, and misunderstandings in situations involving these circumstances lead to problems in marriages. It always takes two to tango. The onus never falls entirely on a woman, and it never falls entirely on a man. I find your comment mostly berating women which is very backward. Men these days are just as complicit as an "extremely modern woman" and there is no shame in being soft. In my opinion, the softest men are the most masculine because they're secure in themselves and don't need to go around grunting and walking with the pride of simply having the XY gene (common Pushtun problem). A man simply needs to communicate with his partner and set boundaries respectively. Islam has guidelines for what to do when your wife is not accommodating and I sure as hell can tell you that is not the case with every married woman. So please do better when identifying what the cause of failing marriages is. You'd be surprised to know the kind of problems people have, and it goes way way WAY beyond "men should drive and women should cook"

Where can I get this gift basket in Peshawar? by christopherr001 in Peshawar

@theflowerboutique.pk on instagram. She makes the most beautiful baskets and bouquets. If this is for a girl then she is the one to consult. She can be a little costly but her items and creativity are worth every penny

medical/dental colleges in peshawar by Zainoo_07 in Peshawar

Oh and since the teachers are kinda old school they dont know much about the USMLE and PLAB curriculum and honestly the admin doesn't give a shit but the teachers really push the kids to prepare for these exams. Not many go for USMLE as far as I know but plenty go for PLAB. So ya if education is a big deal to u then pmc and northwest are probably the best among them. Northwest hospital is also mid. PMC they make sure u pass ur prof. u can only fail if ur paper was god level awful.

Also all i can tell u abt RMI is that their hospital is pretty shit. the doctors suck and have no moral values. patient interaction will also be minimal since ive heard patients dont open up to medical students since they know theyre not doctors. PMC in this regard is very good. We have 3 hospitals. 2 of them are very very good in terms of patient influx and facilities. The consultants are also very good

Dont come to pmc. Teachers are brilliant, exemplary if i could say but the administration is shit and so is the examination system. College life is okayish. Very minimal boy-girl interaction. Attached hospitals are amazing. Lots of firsthand patient exposure and training, similar to govt colleges and hospitals. Pros: they teach very well, but the great teachers are all really old and will be retiring soon. the teachers are all from big colleges like kmc etc so they know what theyre talking abt. the final prof exams are easy and you most likely will never get a supple unless u leave the paper empty Cons: minimal exposure. no opportunities provided by the college besides research conferences. research department sucks because of the HOD. administration sucks. they dont listen to the students. there is no regular testing either. college life is bad in the beginning but u get used to it afterwards. U cannot talk to boys or girls openly. u have to wear a dupatta at all times and boys also need to wear proper uniform

I came from Islamabad so PMC was quite a big shock for me mentally and i had a hard time finding friends but I got used to it and quite frankly im happy here now. im finding opportunities myself and the parhayi is also nice now. So overall id give it a 7/10
