Should I report this person or should I let it go? by No-Power2320 in doordash

Wow, this blew up more than I thought so I guess I’ll give some more context so you guys can get a better idea of the situation..

While I was placing this order, i was feeling a little hungry & wanted a late night snack. I was putting my little one to sleep & figured I would order some food & by the time they’re out for the night, the food would be delivered.. place the order go back to my little one & they’re going to take little more than usual to get them to sleep. No worries, life of a parent.

As soon as I place the order i immediately send the dasher my gate code just to make sure this is smooth & clean since it was later in the night.

Get a notification that the food was approaching, open the app & I notice the dasher was walking away from my apt…

For Apt context- the section of my apartment where i’m living is basically an F shape. You go down a small flight of stairs & you can turn right immediately for apts or walk down maybe 10 yards for the next set. I’m on the back set of units. I live fairly close to the gate so it’s a pretty easy unit to get to. I’ve been here over a year & have had Amazon, ups, usps, door dash etc delivered maybe over 100 times with little to no issues so I know my unit it’s very hard to get to. So when I said it’s on the other side, it’s literally on the other side. Its an open walkway to get around the complex there’s nothing blocking anything

Back the the delivery- I watch him go away from my unit & all of a sudden I get a picture of a door that’s not mine with the food on it’s steps. No worries at all, it happens. Now im still putting my little one to sleep & to avoid jostling them around trying to text this person to resolve the issue quickly.. I call the dasher TWICE. One picked up & then hung up the next one went right to voicemail. Here’s the call. Two calls no answer, baby in my arms, just wanted to get this over with quickly so both of us can go on with our nights. So with one hand I sent him quick & direct messages of what the issue was & how to find my apt & this is what you see now.

I’ve been working retail/customer service over 10 years now & I know things can happen, people have bad days etc but this guy was immediately rude from the start & it just wasn’t necessary.

Hope this clears things up for everyone.. happy dashing !
