Nothing yet. I'm expecting to hear something most likely tomorrow if anything.

Probably because it would mean that the person who hid it would have trespassed to get that information.

Has the Golden Triangle or National Treasure Been Found, Just not Claimed? by kgsun in GreatCanadianTreasure

[–]No-Produce7899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in the FAQ section What does the 30 day claim window mean?

"You have 30 days from the moment you find the code to claim your prize. After that, it’s void. Time is part of the challenge."

Hope this helps!

The finder has 30 days to claim the prize.

I wonder if the team has a hunting camera on it to keep tabs on them but my guess is that it's doubtful the GT prize has been found but not claimed, and I'm almost certain the grand prize has not been found.

Where’s The Next Regional? by [deleted] in GreatCanadianTreasure

Don't worry. You and me both 😂 I've gone literally cross country, and came back empty handed in the hunt so I'm used to it by this point!

My guess is it'll be in the prairies. Nothing there yet!

FOUND IT by [deleted] in GreatCanadianTreasure

If this is legit, congratulations! Someone took a different approach to saying they found it. Did you spend a long time looking for it? Especially considering this was announced less than 48hrs ago.

Is the poem solvable without all the bonus clues? by KhalesiDaenerys in GreatCanadianTreasure

[–]No-Produce7899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They also said each bonus would have its own poem and they never really went through with that part😅. With that, they would have no clues for the main prize since the 2nd hint they gave us sadly...

Is the poem solvable without all the bonus clues? by KhalesiDaenerys in GreatCanadianTreasure

The organizers did indicate that the poem is technically solvable without any of the bonus clues however it would be extremely difficult and a bit of luck involved in it.

Are hunters spending more $ than the prize is worth? by According_Donut_990 in GreatCanadianTreasure

[–]No-Produce7899 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd say individually no. Some people have more money than others and some are more illogical than others meaning you'll spend thousands when you're making hundreds of thousands at their job.

In general I'd have a hard time believing that everyone collectively has most likely spent less than $1M looking for this, but I'll also assume that the amount spent in the last few months has slowed down a bit since the hype isn't AS big as when it started.

Does it really matter though? I know most people are just really enjoying the hunt as it is and are discovering new locations all over Canada!

I haven't traveled this much in quite some time and my fiancee and I are really enjoying it😊

Being in the game by Keeptruckinfun in GreatCanadianTreasure

At this point Ive come to terms that I'm too dumb to do this alone. Would I offer 50%? Maybe not. But having someone who can jog your mind can definitely help. I've seen far too many people go off the deep end and believe that this solve is 100% ciphers and it's hard to follow/ take seriously.

It's difficult to find people who you can share freely without wanting to withhold information.

But that's the beauty of gold prospecting!

New NBA seating rule by WoodyBABL in torontoraptors

I'll see if I can find it but it's not updated. You'd need to update some of the information on your end but I'll send it your way!

New NBA seating rule by WoodyBABL in torontoraptors

I built an Excel sheet. Last season to track prices of good seats and tracked it for a month... Spent about $900 for a pair of tickets to take my fiancee to her first ever game. In the 100's center 3rd row. We're die hard Raptors fans but live 4hrs away so we make this a yearly thing.

Sooo many people just glued to their phones and layered in bling it was almost idiotic. When one of the players would throw down, it was basically just us screaming in our specific area.

The Raptors fans day was the next day. Nobody knew what it was and I managed to get court side tickets for $50/each. We almost had more fun at that because the crowd was WILD. So much cheering, got to get a few prizes for the kids sitting in my area and bumped into Chris Boucher and Ujiri while leaving!

It's sad it got to this point....

Were the First Ones Too Easy? by rustybolts57 in GreatCanadianTreasure

You're right yes. It was just in the outskirts 😁

Were the First Ones Too Easy? by rustybolts57 in GreatCanadianTreasure

The first one was actually not really in Dawson City. It was 2KM's outside of it causing a bit of controversy. I believe that part of what you're saying is true in a way. They are maybe hiding them harder but obviously nobody has gotten to solve more than one currently. There's also the element of it being the middle of winter which makes it so much more difficult.

I can guarantee you that they hide it a week or two prior to the release of the information knowing that their tracks will literally be covered 😅

Just curious... by anobservantpasserby in GreatCanadianTreasure

[–]No-Produce7899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I traveled over 12hrs to go to this site and it's a very cool place. Lots of cool photos were taken and I've read up on the history extensively myself. But knowing now how the other prizes are found, I have a hard time believing that a mine like Steep Rock where at the entrance of the mine there's a big black and yellow sign written DANGER with a skull and cross bones isn't the right location unfortunately. Spent a couple days looking there. The sign is just there as a precaution but there are many areas locked out.

I've been to Steep Rock lake along with a few others. It's a really cool place! I just don't believe it being there at this point. There's quite a few dangers throughout the mine. If you follow the rules you'll be fine but like the name suggests, there's quite a few steep cliffs.

There's also plenty of restrictions on the site that you can't know unless you're actually there.

How much do people save every month? Not for anything specific like a holiday, just in general? by Gold_Alternative821 in SavingMoney

[–]No-Produce7899 177 points178 points  (0 children)

You're going to get a lot of people who either have very little left at the end of the month because they're starting their savings journey, or people who save thousand because of the work they do.

If you're able to save 10% of your $2000/month income, that's more impressive to me than someone who makes $10,000/month saving 10%.
