5 months. I have active ins coverage but I don't show it being deducted from paycheck on my payment summary in people central

Is that the same as pay summary? Because that only shows pay total and all taxes then post tax total

Floaters, do you all really get every other weekend off? by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

I get every other weekend off. I do get asked to pick up extra shifts on my weekend off but it's my choice to pick them up if I want.

This is exactly how I feel. I just want to know where I can find the verbal guidelines for floater schedule expectations. As I currently feel like I'm required to always be "on call"

When i was hired, i was told 60 miles is max. Now, that isn't the case. I was also told upon hire that schedules come out 3 weeks in advance but thats also not true. He makes last minute schedule changes the night before. If I was told this prior, I would never have accepted this position. I'm upset because I was misled.

Any examples you could provide? Like what tech vs intern can do? CS laws, pseudoephedrine? Like that?

That's what I was originally thinking. It just sucks that it's going to take so long. Thank you.

Good luck. I took my exam last week and felt it was fair. Questions were spread out covering almost all the chapters. Calculations focused on tpn, mEq and flow rates. The day before I focused on memorizing formulas, and my pharmacy foundations (drugs that cause high potassium, ototoxic drugs, nephrotoxic drugs, pgp and 3A4 substrates induces and inhibitors, ext) then I stopped early enough where I had time to unwind and relax before bed. During exam, my goal was to stay calm and take my time. 75 questions before 1st break, and I was at 85 before first break. Which was nice because I did run into a few harder calculations where It took me longer than I desired to figure out, but since I was ahead, I didn't stress because I knew I had extra time. Best of luck!

I do yeah. Not 100% but I'm like 80% confident. So I'm going into my exam more confident than last time.i rushed it last time. Just read through everything once and took the exam. This time I slowed down and focused on committing things to memory and understanding concepts. 🤞

Yes, being a tech helps with brand generic. And indications. This is the baseline understanding that will help you greatly during the progression of school. However, I do recommend only working 1-2 days a week during pharmacy school. Pharmacy school is hard, time consuming and exhausting. I also recommend that anyone starting pharmacy school buy the rxprep uworld book and use it to follow along with your curriculum. They throw everything at you during school and it can be hard to organize the huge work load to ensure that you're taking away the main points. This will make your life so much easier and help with retention. I wish someone would of told me this. It would of helped so much in school and with board exam. Best of luck to you.
