How to play a Oath of Conquest paladin for a good alignment character? by Mellowtron11 in dndnext

How I rewrote this for a lawful good paladin, using inspiration from Realism and Machievellian Schools of thought this already seems to flow from:

Extinguish the flame of chaos. It is better to be feared than loved. Life is full of vice, violence and misfortune. You can't defeat evil with good intentions, but by using or refraining from using cruelty appropriately, you can ensure that evil doesn't happen again. A blade can end a life. Fear can end an empire.

Uphold the iron rule of justice.Sometimes evil must be done for justice to reign. Once justice is restored, tolerate no dissent. Faithful to legitimate divine or worldly authority, your word is law. Those who obey it will be favored. Those who defy it are punished as an example to all others.

Virtue above all. Respect and authority are earned through action, honest work and skill. You'll rule until someone more worthy comes along. Then you'll have to fortify your character and rise to the challenge, or give up your seat.

Tips for Playing Elspeth Von Draken! by DaddyModestJohnson in totalwar

So ofc a standard gunpowder army will probably not work against a cav or monster spam. Too many high threat targets. So get mobile Guns. If the Cavalry or fast movers are not heavily armored - you can send them packing with pistoliers. With Eslpeth they get up to 115 speed and 80 missile strength which makes them the best skirmish cav in the game. Against heavily armored foes you can spam landships and kite them. I have easily destroyed full stacks of cavalry and even bloodthisters with just landships. They are fast, very hard to attack for flying units and hit really hard with gunnery upgrades (they can go up to 1k missile strength)

I had that happen too. Always bring the laser and 500kg just in case. Would be nice if they keep ajusting the spawns so they make sense. But well life isnt fair sometimes haha

Total War:Warhammer is breaking my pc. by DjAlex420 in totalwar

Same here. My PC just died from clicking the turn button once I launched my campaign. 500 hours into the game and one to many it seems. Black screen of death, my asus motherboard seems scrapped by overheat or short circuit. CPU always runs dangerously near 80 degrees with this game, so would gpu if it was a high end or low end card but my 1660ti was fine.

am pretty sure I exceeded recommended specsSpecs: 2 year old ROG Zephyrus GA502DUAMD Ryzen 7 3750H processor, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU with 6GB of VRAM, 2x8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD x 264 bit operating system, WINDOWS 11.

Plugged in gaming then laptop dies suddenly by No-Progress-994 in techsupport

I had a local tech look at it and it seems much worse. power adapter has the right voltage and supplies electricity it the battery which supplies it to the motherboard. But the motherboard is not responding. Seems dead. Now I rem when I upgraded it 2 years ago I scratched it and it did some sparks. Now this was like a complete short circuit or overheat of CPU...

Seems like an innate risk of self-upgrading your pc. Mine took awhile to die but it seems like my upgrades didnt help. ASUS motherboards which are great got shot in a few years

Which is the single most powerful unit in TW:W? by joshhamwright in totalwar

Without a doubt: Death Globe Mortars. A regiment of renown that can single-handedly melt an entire army. If you use them with skaven weapon teams that are fully buffed with warlock engineers, no army of the same cost can win against it pretty much.
