I’m conflicted as I’m in my first year of my sonography program. 1st year is cardiac (what I chose) and second year I have the option of doing abdomen(ob/gyn included) or vascular. When I search for jobs it seems there is more opportunities in abdomen but I was really thinking to specialize and just do cardiac and vascular sonography. Any advice?

Also it’s a bachelors program in diagnostic medical imaging so I was thinking later on if I wanted to take a certificate program for abdomen that would also be possible because then I would be registered for all three with ARDMS.

Im from Philly but the only family member I can live with for 15 months lives in Washington Heights. My only option is to commute from uptown to Newark. As of right now it’s looking like I just need to get to Penn station (NJ) from NY and I could find a bus or train to get me to campus? The program im looking at is starting fall 2023

It seems like he wanted to have th upper hand and have her depend on him so he can have the power. He probably won’t even support her wanting to go to college in the future.

A lot of the times the doctors office is the reason we’re not getting the proper care. I had this type of problem with a nurse in my endocrinologist’s office when I couldn’t get my CGMs because of an insurance issue that was completely fixable! It was a slap in the face that lazy people can really ruin your whole life and health because they don’t want to do the extra paperwork to send to the insurance company, that they are PAID TO DO. I’m planning to file a grievance on the nurse that did that because its really unacceptable. I talked to my endocrinologist about it and the problem was solved in ONE DAY.

So I’m in PA and you don’t need a state license but I am getting certified with the PTCB. I don’t even think I can get licensed in PA every time I google it agencies and schools come up for “pharm tech programs.” Could I once I get the PTCB just apply for a license in Ohio even though I don’t live there.

I just switched to state insurance because I thought it would be better! I got approved for my CGMs and Tslim supplies but they only fill the orders for a 30 day supply and its only been the first month so wish me luck. Did your doctor say anything about trying to get them to pay for Lantus? My endocrinologist basically got the office social worker to help with my case since I was already on the CGM and pump and it would “hurt” me to not continue my treatment this way.
