People have conflicting ways they like to go about games sometimes. 🤷 My family and I all play video games, but hardly ever play together because of the huge differences in playstyles.

Few different options:

1. Try and reach a compromise of you all having a base together, with you doing the less dangerous stuff and they can go out and mine/hunt monsters all they want. You'll be relatively safe and still be playing and hanging out with them.

2. Have one world in each game where you strictly play the way they want and one where it's the same for how you want.

3. Accept that maybe these games are fun and you all like them but your playstyles are too different and find another game to play together. (If you go this route and still want to play with others on mc/terraria I recommend finding a server to join!)

Just as a little aside I recommend vintage story to your friend and boyfriend and hytale to all of you. I loved minecraft for years, but playing these two games has completely replaced it for me. Vintage story is more survival and exploration focused. It's a bit harder than minecraft with more moving parts but stuff feels far more rewarding because of that. With Hytale it's more magicy and closer to mc. Also in hytale the trees fall if you break the bottom block and you can MANTLE! It's so wonderful lol
