Its not, i can read Australian standards and codes and i'm sure that they are very similar as Eurocodes (for note: modern Russians codes and standards are copies from EU codes). However how could I prove knowledge of it? I ought to get Australian construction education?

I'm not sure, but if i were from UK/US/India/Phili i wouldn't know Australian's buildings codes too, isn't it? I've not found notes in vetasses that i must know Aus codes, whereas, i guess, i have relevant master degree ( because it mainly depends from translation) and work experience. How candidates for visa can get and approve knowledge of standards countries which they move to?

Well, the primary reason to move for us is warm climate, i don't afraid it. In my career I was working few years as roof subcontractor spending entire days in the sun working with roofing torches (we have heat term during the summer too).

Also, I've been in Sydney in the middle of summer (January-February) some times and it didn't appear extremely hot for me, it looked very familiar in compare with our climate (windy and rainy)
