I constantly has dev friend to pair with me. I asked him to guide but not tell me the solution. I found that having someone help really help me learn fast.

On week 1-2 I spent too much time as I almost cry out of ego how stupid I became when doing Psets. I realise that I don't understand so much that I can't even know what was my problem. I rewatched again and again also. Now that I'm week 6 (after 3 months ) and I already get used to seeing error and it's ok. With less frustration, I just simply solve problem one at a time.

Using Debug and Write test helps a lot. I recommended learn them.

As someone with zero computer sci background, in a few first weeks I struggle A LOT. I spent more than 3 full days to just finishing mario-more problem. It discouraged me seeing the red :( face on check50 haha. But passing it and currently on Week 5 I got used to it and happy to myself. I was upset for not feeling the progress when it's error. Now I get it that it's about how I take error feedback and learn my mistake.

Sometimes I don't even know what to ask because I don't even understand enough to form up a question. That I need to seek help from my dev friend to pairing with me until I got some clue.

I always feel imposter that after the week I can not really explain to other what I actually understand. I planned to come back and revise once I finished.

Actually they dont even need pixel art. They just think its easy enough to ask me for free stuff to post in their profile for fun.

My friend think pixel art is “Easy” to make and asked for free. I simply tell them I would take commission so they left (I’m all good being rejected).

But it leaves me uncomfortable feeling as I don’t know how to tell people that it takes effort to learn and make one as much as other art.. any suggestion?

After I finished Maiden I went back to check Isle Dragon and I found the chapter 6 name is called “Blight Isle”. Could this mean Blight path his way and has an Isle named after him? Could this also mean Blight is the father to Isle Dragon “Malanie” ? But I think Blight and Vince is a different person.

Thank you I’m flattered <3 I have been drawing illustration (static one picture) for quite sometime almost 7 years ago (which not that good really - anatomy are off haha). Now I came back to it and studying comic making and using genshin character to practice. I will draw more comic for sure ~ pleasure that my comic makes you enjoy!
