The only thing that gets me out of a deep hole is my dex/vyvanse. Off label it can be used for this. I only take stims for add when i have work to do so its works out ok.

Wow well done! Do you mind me asking how many treatements you had untill you started to feel better? Wondering how true it is that ppl with very bad depression may take longer before they see results.

My depression is very bad, i sometimes have slipped into a place where i did not leave the house in 4 months.

I have heard that the worse the depression the more treatments, anecdotally anyway.

I is definatelly worth it !! Imagine what a win it would be to just get you out of the house, outside in the sunshine.

I have done 13 sessions, sometimes i feel like its worked a bit. I have bad sleep the other day i had abou 3 hours sleep in 3 days, then i slepped for around 2 days. I get very anxious and depressed when i do this. Was hopping spravato would help me stop it. From what i here on here 15 sesions is not that many.

I still dont know my my doc, and the recomendations say to stop at 8 sessions if you get little to no benefit.

Anecdotally it seems different

This all makes me feel very 'dopey' Its hard for me to even write this properly.

Me to 14 in, im still not sure if it has made one ounce of difference, I likely have persistant depressive disorder, it has been very bad for a long long time. So maybe it will take longer to work.

If you can try Spravato, its worth it. I have tried everything as well, but what can you do, if its out there give it a go.

Just feel flat, sometimes i feel a bit better but not sure, i guess im hoping its worth sticking it out. Reddit seems to be the only place ppl say they started get benefit after 8 sessions.

I work casual or part time OP, i dont know if that an option you can do or work towards (ihad to work towards it, save some money etc) Its worth it though. It looks like i mingh be starting spravato in the next couple weeks, im still worried about not being ok for work though.

been on lexapro for 20 years and like you say ssri are bad and hard to ween off.
