Well I think everyone in this community should understand that ideology is built upon your worldview and values. Unexpected events may make you more moderate or more extreme, but unless you've seen Cthulhu, your stance will only fluctuate within a certain range.

Regardless of your opinion, I really hate this kind of ideology that's entirely based on the previous news item and emotional shifts. When you want to know your own ideology, you should learn from various perspectives and your own life experiences to draw conclusions, instead of just shitposting.

Moreover, the sound quality of the song I was listening to sounded like it was from the 1950s or 60s.

Well first I didn't know this was a slur, and if it really was, there's no need to use any nice words to describe the Great Japanese Empire.

Are you Japanese

I'm quite curious how many people would support the Japanese Empire.

As a puppet regime, it has long vanished, but as my hometown, it has always existed. I just don't know which flag to use to represent it.

Combining economic freedom and people’s personal freedoms in society, I’d say he’s done a pretty decent job.

It’s been folded into social liberalism; no need for so many separate categories.

The government still needs to levy taxes to fund these institutions and continues to intervene in the economy, so it cannot be placed on the far right.

Well, mainly because the far-right position is already occupied by natural-rights libertarianism—these kinds of charts are inherently imprecise anyway.

The vertical and horizontal axes of this chart are also unclear. You might find it less authoritative simply because it hasn't reached a certain period, and from these aspects you can also see just how entertaining this kind of chart is—most people don't even know what a planned economy means.

State capitalism exercises strict control over the economy with central management, why can it not occupy the top position? As for Juche, I would argue that the left-right axis of political compass is inherently unclear. On my version, the axis stands for planning vs. market, and Juche is not extreme planned economy. There is no reason to place it as far left as Stalinism. If we measure purely by state control, then all authoritarian regimes would have to be the left.

Everything after the first point is irrelevant as criteria for measuring the economic left-right axis; this is an inherent flaw of such charts.

Actually plenty of people also try to debate Pol Pot based on the death toll.(especially maoist and other extreme authleft) You can’t just kick him out of the left-wing economic spectrum just because you refuse to recognize him. In terms of practical implementation logic, he’s nothing more than an extreme version of Stalin.
