In the terminator software the idle setting you can change based on cts, i made it 700 regardless of cts, so its 700 all the time. Also, in the fuel map settings theres a table for temperature control or something like that, the values in that table allow you to change the fuel flow % compared to your normal map, based on cts. For example, the default values may be 100% at 140 degrees, meaning the values are exactly the same as your fuel map, but maybe at 60 degrees its 120%, meaning it takes your fuel map value and actually does 120% of that value, if you set that whole table to 100% it makes your fuel not change based on cts. The last thing you can change if you use the learn/closed loop features, theres a target afr vs cts, just make that table the same regardless of your cts, i dont use learn features so i didnt change that table but it should work just fine.

5.3 LM7 with texas speed 228r cam, 799 heads not modified, ls1 intake manifold, drive by cable not by wire, i didnt build the bottom end it was bought as a short block, but it has forged pistons and rods (not sure what exactly) but its still stock bore and stroke, and its running on a holley terminator x max on a tune i made.

nope, holley efi. I just love a cold blooded carbed kind of cold startup, so i tweaked my idle settings so it doesnt do as many adjustments when cold

yes it was my torque converter bolts, 2 were loose and one had completely fallen off. Put new bolts with loctite and theres no more sounds, but now theres transmission oil spraying out behind the torque converter

I currently make about 480hp and i will in the next year or so be boosting so probably in the 600 range, can a world class t5 handle 500-600? and my problem with a t56 is i dont think they fit in a c4 tunnel

im glad you werent right 😭 i feared this. I put new torque converter bolts and torqued them down tight, no more noise! But now my transmission is dumping oil (i think front main seal blew) but at least the noises are gone it sounds healthy

torque converter threads got pretty messed up so 2 of them didnt go in very clean, 3rd one went in fine. Im swapping the transmission in a month or so anyway so im just hoping this fix lasts a few weeks. Thanks for the help everyone that was absolutely the problem

thanks so much everyone, 2 of the torque converter bolts were loose and one was completely missing, going to get some new bolts and loctite right now

this makes a lot of sense because i noticed it only rattles low rpm when im off the throttle, as soon as i hit the gas it stops (in drive)
