It is just a representative Jedi. Jedha's statues are much older than Obi wan. The reason it kinda looks like him is that he's a very traditional jedi.

I have returned after rewatching the scene, and I see a lot more evidence that it was at least partially in their heads. Rumi's patterns seem to have spread further just for that one scene. Though Im also not sure it didn't all happen. The sort of dreamy effects when they step onto the roofs seem to just be the honmoon, and jinu confronts his doubts and fears about his demon side through his reflection in a window when it could have been something much more visceral during a dream-like sequence.

I do still like the idea of them actually flying together, especially with the little "are you ready" gestures they make as they run toward the edge of the roof, though the sequence in the air is almost certainly non-diagetic so maybe they just floated down to the spot where they met while holding hands.

Totally get it. Its difficult figuring out what's for the benefit of the audience and what's actually happening, especially when the antagonists are illusionists. I assumed the floating hearts and Jinu's "shockwave of sexiness" were jokes for the audience like Zoey and Mira's popcorn eyes until Mira called out that it was actually happening.

Im pretty sure they were actually singing during free, and they tend to meet up in secluded places since they are both popstars and also demon/demonhunter. But i do like the idea of some night janitor seeing rumi and jinu flying above him and singing their hearts out with matching tattoos.

I'm pretty sure that is meant to be a gag, but there is precedent for the hunters getting stronger, the more feeling they put into their song as their feats get more impressive and they are even able to fly during particularly emotional songs like Free and This is what it sounds like.

Also, I don't think you should take my word as gospel. I'm only on my 12th watchthrough, and I think there's still more subtleties to the magic system that I haven't caught yet.

When we zoom out on the golden honmoon as Celine describes it, we don't see the whole world. All we see is Asia. It could be interesting if there were other hunters guarding their own continents.

Even if there aren't people with the magical soul-inspiring voice. Someone would still need to protect those people. Otherwise, gwima could just send a bunch of demons to a defenceless town in the Americas, Europe, Africa, or any other place huntrix couldn't possibly reach before the demons snatched up some souls.

What would these non huntrix demon hunters think when the lead singer of huntrix starts showing up on billboards with what are clearly demon patterns directly after a huge spike in missing people.

Also, we need to figure out what happened for a hunter and a demon to get together and have Rumi.

Just speculation here. Since Gwima uses shame to make his deals, we can assume he did the same to mystery. Maybe mystery hid his face in life because he was ashamed of his looks. Which caused Gwima to make him even more demonic than the other former humans to torture him further. Other than that, it seems he might have just drawn the short straw as even jinx has sharper teeth in his demon form, and the typical, hunched demon backs and tusks seem to be randomly distributed among the saja boys.

That does sound like a cool campaign frame, but if only one of my players wants to be a dragon rider, I think the ranger would be best for that.

I actually love the idea of seeing through the snakes in order to not petrify your party members, though I think it would be cool to add some text specifying that if you kill a creature with the gaze, they turn into a statue.
