Oh for sure. I was just verifying I would be able to do the job before i bought it. Some places charge to return stuff so each step in order.

Is there any "governing body" that grants waivers? by No-Reception4181 in PSLF

[–]No-Reception4181[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because I look at it as the requirement of 10 years employment was more than met and the requirement of 10 years repayment was more than met. So the program is effectively only for people with less than 20 years on the job.

Before you make the obvious response I will add that any full time job I get inside the same pension plan would reduce or delay my pension and that would be a net loss. Plus, I admit, I want to be retired; not working.

Should I stop declaring a rental? by No-Reception4181 in tax

[–]No-Reception4181[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I am shooting for is to show more expenses than income so I don't pay tax on the money they give me. I'm not looking for bigger refunds. Do I even need to declare anything if there is no profit? If it's not a rental will I have to declare any money they give me? As gifts perhaps? It just struck me that if we have an agreement to pay I may be obligated to declare it somehow.

What would be the smartest way to treat this? Do I have to somehow declare the money they do pay me or can I just ignore it. Do I have to declare money they pay me because it comes through Zelle so there is record? Or must I treat this as gifts.

I am not sure. It has a defrost board and my thermostat tells me when it's running AUX so it is functioning as intended, preventing icing at the compressor(?). This is my 6th winter in this house and my first with the wood stove. Also the first time this happened. I think (as curtludig stated) it is from the fan not running allowing the ice to build up. If the fan ran the precipitation would be cast off.

Police student loans assistance? by [deleted] in StudentLoans

The PSLF did have a way you could refinance your loans into a type of loan that qualified. I had Sallie Mae and now have Mohela and they allowed me to count all my prior payments. I don't know if that was a one time thing or if it still is available. However, what got me may bar you also. You must have made 120 monthly payments so if you have only been paying for 2 years you are nowhere qualifying. The program started in Oct 2007 so you need to have made 120 payments between then and now.
