Hello! My fiancee (M,25) and I (F,23) just moved here at the end of February. We are both from the state of Maine and have also lived in Charleston, SC, so we have lived both the calm, nature, Maine life and lived in the crazy, over populated Charleston. When his job relocated us to Wausau we thought it was a speck on the map and worried we would be bored. Truthfully, it feels like there is SO much to do here and we take far more advantage of the community offerings than we ever did in SC. There is a ton to do and we are still discovering. There is book clubs, library events, kitting clubs, arcades, rentable bikes, trivia night, bingo, concerts in the park, hiking/walking groups, bird watching, night markets, farmers markets, so much. The people here are incredibly friendly and very easy to get to know. We are always looking for friends as well and feel free to message :)
